The video of this tie has been getting awesome love on the feed, but you really can't appreciate all the details until you get a micro look at the skirt flare and thread work.

​Locked this 1/4 oz Berkley Fusion19 Hybrid Jig Head in the vise and hand-tied a custom silicone/living rubber hybrid skirt to match that vibrant head paint.

​Main Body: Chartreuse Fishscale & Black Pepper Flake silicone (courtesy of )

​Belly Accent: Orange Living Rubber for that heavy pulse on the drop

​Finish: Hand-tied tight with waxed thread to ensure zero slip

Went and fished the Muskegon River with my Dad from Friends & Family Outdoors! Beautiful water, custom jigs and smallmouth. What more could I ask for? 😁

Tied up a fresh setup for the Muskegon River today, and the action in the water was hard to beat.

​Running the Great Lakes Finesse Snack Craw in Smoke Clear Purple Flake rigged on a GLF Ned Head, but added my own personal twist with a custom hand-tied skirt using silicone and living rubber. Big fan of GLF’s tackle, but there’s always a extra level of confidence when you’re fishing a setup dialed in at your own vise.

That extra skirt flare giving subtle pulse in the river current makes a huge difference when drifting through deep runs and rock beds.

​The purple flake on this clear smoke pattern catches the light perfectly in clear water and if there's anything I learned this past year, is that bass LOVE purple.
