I never got to meet George, but after watching his movies from over the years, watching interviews of him and listening to other people talk about him, it's almost like you just knew the guy like a long lost uncle or something. I know that sounds corny, but he was one of a kind that really left an impression on the world beyond his comprehension.

As a fan of the "Dead" series and a survival horror game fan I really wished Capcom would have greenlit his vision for his Resident Evil movie, it was the least they could of done for him. If it wasn't for Romero, there wouldn't be Resident Evil.
