This girls real name is Princess 🩷 we named her Lucy when she came in as a stray with a large gash on her side which had be surgically repaired. She’s a sweet, snuggly gentle girl who loves the outdoors and is working on her leash manners 🥰


She’s between 2-3 years of age and was given to an elderly couple when their daughter moved out of state .

She was residing with many other dogs who were also rehomed around the area.

Bounced from home to home she’s never really had a chance to thrive ❤️

This poor girl is looking for something tangible, a chance to be a forever companion and a loyal friend.

She would love presents under the tree just for her , a comfy bed to lay on and a basket of toys all to herself !

She loves her treats and enjoys walking and individual attention.

We will gladly do a meet and greet with other dogs in the home .

Grady is Gorgeous.
He’s a big beautiful boy, weighing in at almost 20 pounds.
He rolls over for belly rubs and is a real charmer.
Look at his purrfect face and tell me you don’t need him?

Grady is awaiting a home where he can stretch out in front of the fireplace and watch the world go by.

He’s been with other cats but slow introduction is helpful !

Alfredo is a cheesy boy but do not add chicken 🐔
He must be the only animal in the home 🏠
He is listed as a sh*tzu mix .. theyre all mixes and since we dont DNA test, we’re giving our best guess .

This boy is 2 years old and weighs 17 pounds.

He doesn’t mind playing dress up and he’d love a chance to wear his Christmas sweater in his home for the holidays !

Overview: This free (live) webinar will give a history of the PSPCA with an emphasis on the importance of strong animal protection laws in Pennsylvania. Nicole Wilson, Director of PSPCA’s Animal Law Enforcement (ALE) division, is presenting the webinar.

Under Nicole’s leadership, the PSPCA’s ALE team has conducted more than 50,000 investigations into animal cruelty and neglect in 18 Pennsylvania counties, seizing over 16,000 animals and taking offenders to court. Nicole's leadership includes shelter operations at the PSPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters.

There will be a Q&A session after the presentation.

Mugger is a 3 1/2 month old fluff who wants to play with other cats.

Last Night we got to see the magic of the holiday season through the eyes of our shelter pets – and wow, did they shine. ✨🐾

13 of our pups loaded up for a very special field trip to see the Christmas lights, noses pressed to the windows, tails wagging at every twinkle and glow.

For many of them, this was their very first holiday outing – a little taste of what it feels like to be someone’s treasured family member.

Thanks to the incredible team at Furvana Pet Spa, llc
each dog was gifted a festive Christmas bandana, looking absolutely dashing and ready for holiday photos. We wrapped up the night with the sweetest treat of all: pup cups, happily devoured by very happy, very loved pups.

In this season of miracles, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to the volunteers who made this beautiful trip possible – from driving and walking dogs, to calming nervous pups, to capturing the memories in photos and videos.

You gave them more than a car ride and some treats; you gave them moments of joy, comfort, and hope.

Here’s to warm hearts, wagging tails, and the belief that every one of these amazing animals will find a home of their own. 🌟❤️🐶

Precious Maddie was chosen by her new family to join them for her second chance at a forever home.
This girl will forget all about the path she took to get here because her future is bright!

Our staff and volunteers would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Board of Directors and Administrators for giving us the opportunity to come together and enjoy one another’s company at our annual Christmas Party Celebration. 🎄❤️💚

For the second year in a row, we had the pleasure of celebrating at Deacons Tavern, truly a hidden gem in NEPA. ❄️

Their hospitality is outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is absolutely spectacular. 🥘 The cozy igloos are always an extra-special touch and make the evening even more magical!

Thank you for making this gathering so meaningful and memorable for our guests. We are deeply grateful for all of the wonderful people who make it possible for our staff and volunteers to enjoy a much-needed night off from their incredible work.

A special thank you to the Bulzoni Family (Dave & Robin) for the amazing desserts. 🧁 We always look forward to ending the night with your delicious treats!

It was a truly special evening—so much so that we even took a break from taking photos and just enjoyed being together.
