Yesterday I welcomed the new website for Bodacious Bulbs Elephant Garlic Farm!

Before: The original logo was cute and playful, but it leaned more toward a cartoon style that didn’t fully reflect the premium quality of Bodacious Bulbs’ elephant garlic.

After: The refreshed logo brings in a clean, modern farm aesthetic with an earthy color palette. It feels authentic, natural, and timeless and is a better fit for their new e-commerce website and brand identity.

I’m beyond excited to officially share the launch of the brand new website for Bodacious Bulbs, Elephant Garlic Farm in Clarkston, WA! 🧄✨

This project holds a special place in my heart, not only because Lisa & Luke are such amazing people with a passion for their garlic farm, but also because they showed me incredible patience and understanding during a very difficult time 💗

Back in late July, right as we were finishing up the website and getting ready to launch it I was unexpectedly hospitalized with a brain bleed. Recovery has been a journey, and I’m SO thankful to be here, and back to doing what I love.

Through it all Bodacious Bulbs has been patient, understanding, amazing and gave me the time I needed to heal. For that, I am so grateful 🙏

The timing might be a little late in their season, but this site is ready for orders and ready to shine for years to come! 🌱✨ Please help me welcome www.bodaciousbulbs.com! Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Brain Bleed Update: I finally had my 6 week follow up appointment with my neurologist yesterday and he approved me to get back to work part time! 🎉🎉🎉

I’m still getting a few headaches a week due to the blood bleeding into the lining between the brain and the thin protective membranes that cover it, but so far just annoying but bearable 🙏

I’m so thankful to be alive, and incredibly thankful to all of my website clients for being so patient, amazing and understanding!!! You’re the reason I can do what I love! 💗💗💗

Here’s what I’ll be working on:

✨ Complete the two websites that were nearly done in July when this happened.

✨ Get started on the two websites that were scheduled to begin on July 28th.

✨ Complete any website update work orders I was working on.

✨ Send out a new website proposal.

✨ If you have a work order or website update that you need done PLEASE don’t hesitate to email them to me. They will be performed in the order received.

Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Brain Bleed Update: 44 days later, and I’m STILL realizing just how lucky I am to be alive 🙏🥺💗

Overall mortality for a subarachnoid hemorrhage is 35–50%. Apprx. 30% die within a few days, and another 10-15% within a few weeks. Many patients die within 1 month. After 1 month, survival rises to about 90%.

How I’m feeling: Recovery has been somewhat slow (according to me, not according to normal recovery times 🥴😮‍💨🐌), but overall I’ve seen a lot of improvements and I’ve made so much progress in the last few weeks. At-home PT is helping with mobility, balance, and stability. I still deal with headaches and pressure, but last week’s CT scan came back negative for any bleeding, swelling, or spasms — such great news!!! So that means I just need to be patient with my recovery.

I see my neurologist for my 6-week follow-up on September 15th, where I’ll discuss getting back to work 🤞🤞I will keep you updated.

What is a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage?
It’s a life-threatening brain bleed in the space between the brain and its protective layers. It can cause brain damage, paralysis, seizures, or death and requires immediate medical attention. Recovery varies, with some patients making a full recovery and others experiencing lifelong challenges. Treatment focuses on stopping the bleeding and managing complications such as increased brain pressure and vapospasms.

THANKFULLY 🥹🙏 I am not experiencing any brain damage or memory issues.

Confession: In addition to using my phone and computer calendar…. I have sticky notes alllll over the place lol 📝📌✔️

Running a freelance business means juggling allllll the things — and yes, sticky notes absolutely count as a productivity system 🤷‍♀️😆

This week’s (and part of next week’s) projects, deadlines, and to do tasks are all lined out. Staying on track helps me show up for every client with clarity, heart, and results 💛

This week’s goals — BIG ideas, SEO, affordable proposals, DNS tasks, help to fix social media log in issues for a few people, website updates and websites built with heart 🫶🖥️✨

They have sooooo MANY good quality, clean and ✨adorable✨ baby and kids clothes and shoes, maternity, women’s and men’s clothes, toys and games, baby equipment, gift items and so much more. Don’t forget that every child gets a FREE book, every time when you drop in to shop, browse or just visit - the owner is AWESOME - you will love her and everything she works so hard to put out for all of you every day 💪✨ I need to get back in there soon, too - even though I don’t have little kids anymore I always find great things when I drop in!! 🐝🎉💛 (I’m STILL thinking about those adorable shoes I didn’t get the day I saw them months ago then the next time I went in of course someone else scooped them up!!! 😭😆)
