We did an impromptu episode to discuss creative ways you can help support your local businesses,(whether you are staying home or still going out), how a lot of us are knowingly and unknowingly having Trauma Responses to the out break, and how to raise your vibe from fear to acceptance and love. We also interview Tammie Mault, who currently lives in Italy. She shares with us what life is like in quarantine and how Italians are pulling together to spread hope. We hope this episode will bring you comfort and peace during these unusual times.

Episode 3, Part 1 is available now! This one is so full of wisdom nuggets, we had to split it into two parts. Amy Wright, APSU Literature & Language Professor and Eco-Poet, tells us all about her writing process, how her passion for our planet fuels her creativity, and how being a teacher has influenced her art. Even her speaking voice comes across as poetry as she answers our questions in this episode. You won’t want to miss it! Streaming now everywhere.

Hello, Clarksville! Next weekend is World Hoop Day, a day where Hoopers worldwide get together to raise $ to donate hoops to their communities. I have decided that my portion of all ticket sales to our HOOPS & HOPS EVENT this Sunday will be donated to supplying another location in Clarksville with hoops! Last year we raised enough money to supply a non-profit dance studio and an alternative school’s PE program with hoops. Please help me get more hoops to those who can’t afford after-school lessons and fitness classes by purchasing a ticket to our event this Sunday. While you’re hooping it up, drinking beer, and winning prizes, you’ll also be helping make Clarksville an even better place to live. Ticket link here:

Artist Spotlight: Chelsey Robinson is a native Clarksvillian with an exhibit currently showing at APSU. Her art portrays her own battle with scoliosis, chronic fatigue, and anxiety in hopes of bringing awareness for all who deal with chronic hidden conditions. Her pieces are striking and portray the constant battle between her body and her spirit, a visual representation of the emotions and pain that arise from this experience. Her art is on exhibit now until 4:30pm tomorrow at the Barbara Beach Gallery located on the 2nd floor of APSU’s Art+Design Building.
