Hello everyone!

I hope you have completed some amazing work and have tried submitting your films to competitions like the All American High School Film Festival (AAHSFF). Keep expanding your knowledge in film making and try new techniques. Remember, equipment is the last thing that should be on your mind.

Towards the end of summer, the RHFC Team will be sending out emails to individuals who want to join film club and/or want to get in touch with us for the upcoming year and learn about the plans for film club throughout the school year.

Enjoy your summer break and as your fellow film maker, I challenge you to make a film in one month of your choice of genre. Send me a PM to youtube if you completed it!

The Baltimore High School Film Festival (BHFF) is an annual juried film festival featuring the work of Maryland and Washington DC high school students. The festival does not charge submission fees nor admission fees.

Great news! If you haven't heard already, RHFC's recent short film "Where It Starts" has made it to the final round of judging at the 2016 Howard County Film Festival!! This diversity-related short targeting ignorance towards prejudiced ideas within society is part of the Top 5 (Top 8%) of finalists.

Show your support by enjoying a night of short films and food tonight at the Miller Library at 7p!!

Hear about the Annual Cultural Awareness Assembly going on before Spring Break? Well RHFC is currently creating a short film that speaks out against racist and generally prejudiced remarks, and it will be premiering its short the day before Spring Break!

Great opportunity to showcase your stories and acting. We are preparing to film a cultural awareness video about racism and prejudice.
If you have a story you never have been able to share or are hesitant to show the community that racism needs to end, we would love to talk to you personally to hear your story.
Remember, your story can be told through video anonymously, without anyone knowing it happened to you or your loved ones.
