We’ve been fortunate to lock in additional copies of Cold Print & Others by Ramsey Campbell, the second volume of Weird., a series of fine press weird fiction volumes curated, edited and introduced by S.T. Joshi. Drawing from Joshi’s extensive and distinguished career, these collections feature the very best work from the most celebrated and influential voices in the genre.
Ramsey Campbell is one of the most acclaimed voices in modern horror. For more than fifty years, his fiction has shaped and expanded the boundaries of the genre, earning widespread recognition for its psychological depth, atmospheric unease, and linguistic precision. Drawing horror from the subtle distortions of everyday life, Campbell’s work is marked by a uniquely British sense of dread—quiet, insistent, and inescapable.
Described by series editor S.T. Joshi as “one of the most accomplished authors of our time,” Campbell has won numerous accolades over his long career, including the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Horror Writers Association, the Living Legend Award of the International Horror Guild, and the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Carefully selected by S.T. Joshi, this volume gathers twelve of Campbell’s most haunting short stories, spanning over four decades of his career. From tales of creeping paranoia to supernatural terror rooted in urban decay, these stories demonstrate the range and power of Campbell’s craft.
Included are:

Artwork:
A trio of immensely talented artists have come together to bring Campbell’s haunting world to life. While each brings a distinct style and sensibility, their work responds to and builds upon one another’s visions. The result is a unified visual language steeped in the macabre and uncanny—perfectly suited to the disquieting depths of weird fiction.
Marcela Bolivar has contributed twelve full-colour illustrations—one for each story—as well as an additional piece used as endpapers in the Collector’s and Deluxe Editions, and on the interior of the Lettered Edition’s solander box.
Sveta Dorosheva created the emblem artwork inset on the cover of the Collector’s Edition and tipped into the Deluxe and Lettered Editions. She also illustrated three interior decorations: a headpiece that appears at the start of each story, and two alternating tailpieces featured at the end of each. All of Sveta’s work has been letterpress printed and she will be providing the emblem artwork for all future volumes.
Svetlana Molodchenko, who hand-lettered the title for every copy of the Roman Numeral edition of Joe Hill’s Faun, also created the title design for this edition. She will be designing the titles for all future volumes.
The edition is printed by Nomad Letterpress and has a trim size of 170mm by 240mm (6.7in by 9.5in) with 263 pages. I’ve set the text in LTC Kennerly and all copies are handbound by Ludlow Bookbinders.
All copies are signed by Ramsey Campbell, S.T. Joshi and Marcela Bolívar.
Collector’s Edition:
Limited to only 400 unnumbered copies, the Collector’s Edition of Cold Print & Others is fully bound in a premium, dark grey book cloth with a linen finish. Sveta’s emblematic artwork, which is letterpress printed, is inset onto the front board, while the title and name of the series are foil-stamped in gold on the spine.
The bindings for all Collector’s Editions in the series will continue to be similarly bound—full cloth in varying colours, emblematic artwork inset, and similar spine treatment—for a uniform appearance across the collection.
The volume is letterpress printed on Munken Pure Rough Cream 120gsm (80lb) paper and the endpapers feature Marcela Bolívar’s artwork.
Each copy is enclosed by a custom slipcase handmade by Ludlow Bookbinders, wrapped in the same premium book cloth as the book, with a soft Suedel-lined interior.
Every copy includes “rights” to pre-order the third volume in the Weird. series during a private pre-order period when it is published.
Deluxe Edition:
The Deluxe Edition is limited to only 250 hand-numbered copies hand bound by Ludlow Bookbinders in half brown goatskin leather with boards covered in custom marbled paper from Freya Scott at Paperwilds.
The title of the series is foil stamped on black goatskin leather which is affixed to the spine, and the title of the book is foil stamped in gold.
All Deluxe Editions in the series will be half bound in various materials with a similar spine treatment for a uniform appearance across the collection.
The paper has been upgraded from the Collector’s Edition to 120gsm (80lb) Fedrigoni Acquerello, a felt-marked paper with a beautiful texture, and the endpapers feature Marcela Bolívar’s artwork. Sveta Dorosheva’s emblem artwork is tipped in at the front of the book, and the top edge is gilded.
The book is housed in a custom slipcase handmade by Ludlow Bookbinders. It is wrapped in Napura Kazar paper, giving it a unique look reminiscent of the knotty surface of luxurious bouclé fabric. The top and bottom are capped in goatskin and the inside is lined in Suedel.
Every copy includes “rights” to pre-order a matching number of the third volume in the Weird. series during a private pre-order period when it is published.
