One thing I love about traveling in Europe is how old some of the architecture can be 🏰

Cardiff Castle was built in the late 11th century and that by itself is enough to peak my interest. I mean, I don’t know about you guys, but the oldest structure I’ve been to in the US is from the 1700’s. Which, that’s old.. but not 11th century old 👀

Did anyone else see this post and immediately think to themselves, “oh look, the London Bridge” or was that just me? 👀

A lot of tourist commonly mistake this as the iconic bridge from the children’s nursery rhyme, but this famous London landmark is actually the Tower Bridge, completed in 1894. Even though the bridge was built during this time, it was done so in the gothic style in order to match the Tower of London which sits close to it on the river bank.

I’ve mentioned before that we went all out on the touristy things while visiting London and this was no exception! The bridge offers affordable tickets that allow you to walk up through the towers and cross over a glass floor at the top to the other tower giving epic views of the London skyline and the River Thames below.

Maybe I’ll post a video one day of me carefully walking over the glass, because guys… I hate heights 😅

When I tell you that we did ALL the touristy things in London on our first day there, I truly mean it 👀

We landed in London around 7am and immediately hit the ground running by starting a 5-hour walking tour, which I have to say was one of the best guided tours I’ve ever done (and I really have done a lot). This post includes just a few of the places we saw on this tour and I’ll be sharing more and more. I mean, better late than never right?

I think starting off a visit to a new place by taking a guided tour by a local is a MUST! It really helps you to learn about the place you are visiting and also helps you decide where you want to go and what you want to do for the rest of your travels.

We booked this particular tour via and it was well worth it ✌🏻

What do you do on a 7-hour layover in Boston? As much as you possibly can of course⏳ Swipe and read on to see what I got up to in the city known as the “Cradle of Liberty” 🦅

First things first: get from airport to downtown. I mean taking uber sounds like a grand plan, but what if I told you there was the that not only takes the same amount of time, but also gives you amazing views of the Boston Harbor and skyline! It’s a must do, don’t even try to argue 👀

Next, lunch at a traditional Irish pub and then on too for a pint or two.. or three 🍻

On the way there, you see many famed historical sites such as Paul Revere’s House and you get to take a stroll through the Italian district (note the Vespa)😅

Honestly though, for the fact I really only spent about 4 hours in Boston, it immediately took ahold of the history nerd in me and I can’t wait to return to the city in the future!

What’s your favorite place to go in Boston? I need ideas for my next layover 🤔

You never know what you’ll find tucked away in the North Carolina mountains ⛰️ Finding abandoned pieces of the world like this is always a thrill and not to mention it makes for some moody photos.

If anyone can tell me what exactly this is, it would settle some serious discussions had among friends. Personally I thought it looked like the remains of an old ski lift 🤷🏻‍♂️

The past few weeks I have been contemplating about posting photos and videos from when I visited New Orleans in October 2024. With what happened in this amazing city on New Years, I didn’t know if it was appropriate to post content showing myself and friends having a good time in a place that has now had such a senseless tragedy.

After all this contemplation, I believe that it’s important for me to share this content of the amazing times had in this wonderful city, that myself and so many others have fallen in love with. New Orleans is a special place and a resilient place as we all know and I want to show why this city became important to me and why it is still an amazing place to visit and experience.

My hope for those that view these photos and videos I post in the future, is that they inspire you and convey why New Orleans is a wonderful and resilient city.

But on a lighter note, thanks to for being my unwittingly talented model for some of these photos 📸

Views for days from atop Great River Bluffs State Park in Minnesota ⛰️

This short hike delivered an awesome look at the Mississippi River below. I took this photo over the summer while exploring Minnesota and Wisconsin (where the Mississippi starts its journey) and this week I’m headed to where it meets the ocean in Louisiana 🎺

Life can be pretty grand sometimes 🥂
