Waterfalls in Iceland just hit different 🇮🇸 Gullfoss Falls lies within The Golden Circle and is a two-tiered waterfall that drops over 32 meters (105 feet, I did the conversation for you 😉).

Gullfoss translates to Golden Falls and comes from the colors that the falls take on during certain parts of the day when the sun hits them.

The many colors of an Icelandic landscape 🏔️

This snow capped ridge line is the backdrop for the Haukdalur Geothermal Field and home to Geysir. Which happens to be where all other geyser’s in the world get their name from 🧐

The landscapes of Iceland are of course some of the best on earth 🌍 But Thingvellir National Park is an exceptional reminder of this!

What makes this park so special is that it sits in a rift valley that is caused by the separation of two tectonic plates. That’s right, you can stand on the North American plate and yell at your friend over on the Eurasian plate 👀

This rift causes an already beautiful landscape to be covered in rocky cliffs and fissures that just add to the already amazing landscape of mountains and glaciers surrounding the area 🏔️

A few scenes taken while exploring the amazing city of Reykjavík, Iceland 🇮🇸 This city quickly became one of our new favorites while exploring the first morning we were there.

The first stop was for warm beverages of course and their Swiss mocha might just be the best I’ve had ☕️

A few more steps away was the famous .reykjavik which is clearly the most photogenic church in the island country of Iceland. The architecture all over the city is perfect for capturing photo-op moments.

This is only a small taste of the Iceland adventures we had and plenty more will be coming soon 📸

What do you do when you have a 24 hour layover in London? You go to the famous Black Dog Pub of course 🍻

This iconic pub found new fame when Taylor Swift seemingly made mention of it in her song “The Black Dog.” On our layover to Iceland, we decided to check it out and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the beverages were served cold and quick.

Before stopping at the pub, we made a quick detour to Covent Garden where we checked out 📚 This used book store had every genre and author you could ask for! Not to mention it was cool seeing some original editions of classic books.

Since the first time I visited London earlier in 2025, it became one my favorite cities and this short visit just reinforced that idea! Until next time 🤙🏼

P.S. Iceland photos coming soon 👀

One thing I love about traveling in Europe is how old some of the architecture can be 🏰

Cardiff Castle was built in the late 11th century and that by itself is enough to peak my interest. I mean, I don’t know about you guys, but the oldest structure I’ve been to in the US is from the 1700’s. Which, that’s old.. but not 11th century old 👀

Did anyone else see this post and immediately think to themselves, “oh look, the London Bridge” or was that just me? 👀

A lot of tourist commonly mistake this as the iconic bridge from the children’s nursery rhyme, but this famous London landmark is actually the Tower Bridge, completed in 1894. Even though the bridge was built during this time, it was done so in the gothic style in order to match the Tower of London which sits close to it on the river bank.

I’ve mentioned before that we went all out on the touristy things while visiting London and this was no exception! The bridge offers affordable tickets that allow you to walk up through the towers and cross over a glass floor at the top to the other tower giving epic views of the London skyline and the River Thames below.

Maybe I’ll post a video one day of me carefully walking over the glass, because guys… I hate heights 😅

When I tell you that we did ALL the touristy things in London on our first day there, I truly mean it 👀

We landed in London around 7am and immediately hit the ground running by starting a 5-hour walking tour, which I have to say was one of the best guided tours I’ve ever done (and I really have done a lot). This post includes just a few of the places we saw on this tour and I’ll be sharing more and more. I mean, better late than never right?

I think starting off a visit to a new place by taking a guided tour by a local is a MUST! It really helps you to learn about the place you are visiting and also helps you decide where you want to go and what you want to do for the rest of your travels.

We booked this particular tour via and it was well worth it ✌🏻
