Loving People Is Easy… Until Someone Hurts You

It’s easy to talk about love until someone breaks into your car, betrays you, disrespects you, or wounds you personally.

Real love gets tested when someone hurts you and you still choose not to become bitter, hateful, or consumed by anger.

That’s the kind of love Jesus showed us.

Sometimes Anger Is Just Hurt Pretending To Be Strength

If every conversation immediately turns into anger, offense, bitterness, labels, and attacking people…
something deeper is usually happening underneath.

Healthy conversations require humility, patience, self-control, and the ability to see people as human beings created in the image of God.

Bitterness will slowly turn you into someone you never wanted to become.

I Had No Idea The Holy Spirit Could Carry This Much Power

I used to think power, healing, freedom, and breakthrough came from us…

But it’s the Holy Spirit that gives us strength.
The Holy Spirit that breaks chains.
The Holy Spirit that destroys darkness.
The Holy Spirit that brings freedom from oppression, fear, depression, and spiritual bo***ge.

Where the light of God dwells… darkness cannot stay.

People ask all the time,

“Can you be a Christian and not go to church?”

The answer?

Theoretically… yes.

But the real question is

will you grow the same?

🛑 God Doesn’t Show You the Whole Road Just the Next Step 🛑

Sandra asked a powerful question

“How did you transition into ministry from something you were good at and loved?”

Her answer was simple but profound.

God usually doesn’t show us the whole road.

We want to know next year.

We want to know five years from now.

We want the full plan.

But that’s not how God works.

“The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord.”

Psalm 37:23

God doesn’t usually show us a mile down the road.

He shows us the next step.

One step of obedience.

One step of faith.

One step of trust.

And as we walk in obedience,

He keeps directing our path.

Purpose isn’t always revealed all at once.

Sometimes it unfolds one faithful step at a time.

🛑 STOP SCROLLING LEADERS NEED TO HEAR THIS

90% of the time when someone is underperforming at work,

it’s not just about work.

It’s about what’s happening at home.

Internally.

Emotionally.

Mentally.

As leaders, we cannot rush to judgment.

We must lead with discernment and compassion.

Instead of saying,

“They’re not doing their job,”

ask:

“What is this person carrying right now?”

Because sometimes the struggle you see professionally

is rooted in a burden you cannot see personally.

Great leadership is not just performance-driven.

It is relationship driven.

When people feel seen,

heard,

and genuinely cared for,

they don’t just work better

they become more loyal, more grateful, and more engaged.

If you care about people,

they will care about the work.

Genuine leadership always builds stronger teams.
