Motherhood has been reminding me lately just how much pressure we put on ourselves to make the “right” decision for our kids.

We’ve had some sickness in our house, a few decisions I second-guessed, and one of those moments where I found myself wondering if I had done the right thing.

And I realized… motherhood doesn’t come with the ability to always know the perfect answer. We make the best decision we can with the information we have, with so much love behind it, and then we keep showing up.

Sometimes that looks like advocating. Sometimes researching. Sometimes changing our minds. And sometimes it’s simply sitting beside them, holding them, playing with them, and being their safe place.

Sharing this for any mom who has been carrying the weight of trying to get everything exactly right lately. 🤍

You don’t have to be perfect to keep showing up well.

Feeling so grateful for all the women who came out today for our Moms Founders Club x SHE Echoes lunch. 💗

Putting yourself out there is HARD. You plan something, share something you believe in, and have no idea what the outcome is going to be.

And I think that’s kind of the point of all of this.

We’re all building something. We’re all taking chances, figuring things out as we go, wondering if something is going to work… and then sometimes you get to sit at a table, look around, and see it all come together.

The conversations today were real. The connections were genuine. Women supporting women, sharing what we’re going through, talking about what we’re building, and reminding each other that we don’t have to figure it all out alone.

That’s what Moms Founders Club is about.

So grateful for every woman who showed up, shared a piece of herself, and helped make today what it was. 🫶

This is exactly why we’re doing this. 💗

This. 💗

I don’t want my kids to grow up thinking I had to choose between being their mom and having dreams of my own.

I want them to remember being part of it.

The laptop on the kitchen table. Coming along to events. Sitting on my lap while I work. Watching an idea turn into something real.

It might take longer. It might look a little messier. But I’m building it with them right beside me.

And I think there’s something pretty special about that. 💕

When your best friend owns your favorite food truck, obviously you fly to New Jersey just for a Waffle Up fix. 😂🧇

But seriously, I’m so proud of what she’s built with Waffle Up . What started as an idea has turned into a business people literally wait all winter to come back to.

Being from Jersey, there’s something special about those local spots that reopen every year and instantly feel like summer again. Waffle Up has become one of those places. ❤️

And she’s not stopping here… another food truck is coming soon. 👀

Any guesses what she’s cooking up next?!

Lea’s journey is one of resilience, courage, and purpose. As a former Vietnamese “boat person” refugee, she spent 17 years as a research chemist before following her calling to help others find the courage to embrace and share their own stories.
