🎃 SPIRIT HALLOWEEN IS NOW OPEN IN THE FORMER DICK’S SPORTING GOODS LOCATION | CLERMONT, FL 🎃

Spirit Halloween has opened in the former Dick’s Sporting Goods space next to Hobby Lobby in Clermont, a location that had previously been reported as the future home of Crunch Fitness.

The opening has created even more questions about what is happening with the Crunch project. On the Crunch Clermont social media pages, people have continued asking for updates on the buildout, whether the project is still moving forward, and if there is any estimated timeline for when the gym could open.

At this time, Crunch Fitness has not released an official statement providing an updated timeline or confirming what will happen with the former Dick’s Sporting Goods space after Spirit Halloween closes for the season.

The Crunch Clermont page still lists the former Dick’s Sporting Goods location as its address, but for now, the future of the space remains unclear.

Spirit Halloween is currently open and operating in the location for the Halloween season.

We’ll continue to keep you posted as more information becomes available and will share any official updates from Crunch Fitness as we get them.

💅 PEARL NAIL SPA | CLERMONT, FL 💅

Pearl Nail Spa Clermont recently opened right next to Sprouts in Clermont, and if you’re looking for a new spot to get your nails done, this is one to check out.

They have a talented team of nail technicians, and we went to check them out for ourselves. I really enjoyed my experience, especially the pedicure. It felt like a full spa treatment where you can sit back, relax, and get pampered while getting your nails done.

My go-to nail colors are always OPI, and two of my favorites are Bubble Bath and Let’s Be Friends! I basically rotate between those every time.

🌽 THE GROVELAND EXCHANGE | GROVELAND, FL 🥕

Groveland Exchange has been recommended to me so many times, and after getting the chance to check it out, I can definitely see why!

The Groveland Exchange is so much more than a coffee shop. It’s a community gathering space centered around supporting local farmers, producers, makers, and small businesses. You can stop in for a coffee (we tried their oat milk brown sugar shaken espresso and it was SO good), grab a drink from Sharky’s Sips (they weren’t open during our visit but we look forward to trying them!), shop local products, or just hang out for a while.

One of my favorite things about this place is their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, which makes supporting local farmers so much easier. You can order products from different local farms and producers, including fresh produce, meats, dairy, baked goods, and more. Instead of having to visit each farm individually, the Groveland Exchange brings everything together for you to pick up in one place.

It’s also such a great third space. There’s plenty of seating, a kids’ area, and room to grab a book, get some work done, catch up with friends, or just spend some time with the family.

If you haven’t visited yet, this is definitely a spot worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for an easy way to support more of the farmers and small businesses right here in our community.

🌮 OVER THE BORDER TAQUERIA | CLERMONT, FL 🌮

If you’ve ever seen a huge line forming around town for tacos, there’s a good chance Samuel Aguilar is nearby.

This local pop-up travels all around Orlando and regularly makes stops in Clermont, serving up Tijuana-style tacos made by Samuel and his team.

One thing to know before you go: there WILL be a line. That is basically guaranteed. Bring a fan, water, and whatever else you would bring to survive a Disney line because you may be waiting for a hot minute. But every time they pop up, people show up for these tacos.
