I’m kinda excited about this season of singleness so far.
As someone who had spent years in relationships, without the outcome of marriage, this God-Sized Disruption in dating and becoming wife has been fruitful.
The Bible acknowledges both singleness and marriage as valid and God-given gifts. While marriage is a picture of God's committed love, singleness allows individuals to focus on serving God without the distractions of marriage. Both are legitimate paths for fulfilling God's purpose.
Either way God gets the glory and this season has brought focus I wouldn’t have otherwise. Feeling fulfilled and focused is an understatement.
With that, continuing to be open to a pause, has made me a student to my own thoughts, feelings, hopes and ambitions. My purpose is more tangible than ever.
There’s still more to learn . . . God, do your thing! 💗
