Let there be rock.
All Things Flannel & Thermal - A radio show on WCSB 89.3FM in Cleveland, Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 5pm. So many awesome bands and so many unknown. Losers.
Tune in online at www.wcsb.org and call in at 216.687.3515. All Things Flannel & Thermal is a tribute to the era of the eighties and nineties when long, unwashed hair was unavoidable and the music pouring out of the Pacific Northwest was undeniable. Dirty, unprofessional Rock & Roll was labeled Grunge and the rest was history. If grunge is something you find on your shower wall, All Things Flannel
& Thermal is the water you're standing in. Tune in every Wednesday from 3-5pm in Cleveland at 89.3fm, WCSB OR online at www.wcsb.org. You want to hear something? Call in at 216.687.3515. Maybe I'll put you on the radio. Oh, lucky you!
Let there be rock.

Sad day, folks…
Though musicians are rallying about Neil Young, for some, his decision feels like a double-edged sword.
Yes and yes…
Hey ,
In case you've been missing yours truly and All Things Flannel and Thermal tune in RIGHT THIS SECOND to relive a re-edited show from yesteryear. All the fun with twice the dust.
And look out for brand new shows coming your way recorded from my couch, as we are still locked out of the studio and the station is dying for new content. Who knew?! Stay tuned.
Hey losers, check out the new vid from local boys Kid Tested...
Local indie rockers Kid Tested just debuted a new music video for their unreleased song “If You Love Me, Let Me Sleep.” The song is...
It would be the Christmas season without a fresh track from Cleveland’s own Alan Madej and company!

If that wasn't good enough...there will be a virtual costume contest AND a coloring contest for those of you playing at home.
Go to WCSB.org to grab the Halloween Ball poster, color it good (inside the lines, losers!), and email it back to [email protected].

Head's up...
On this day, Mudhoney released the 7” of Touch Me I’m Sick” and the movement began. If you ever wondered where the name of the show came from...this is it. This is by far my favorite version of this song. Faster, rowdier, and that constant feedback is perfect.

Hey Kiddos,
I know it's been a minute since I have posted anything. That's mainly because I didn't have to so I didn't. But I do care about all of my loyal little listeners and I do hope you are all staying safe and not doing anything dumb. I repeat...don't be dumb.
In other news, today there will be a special treat for all of you foaming at the mouths for the All Things Flannel and Thermal Show. That's right...an archived show will be playing today from 3-5pm. This special show is from August 8 2019 and man, is it a doozy.
In closing, listen to the show, be safe and don't be dumb. Thanks for listening. There's more to come. Stay tuned,

Inspiration comes from all corners.
Lucky for the rest of us Ben and Tommy got together during this pandemic (social distancing, I’m sure) and wrote the first new track from Alcohol Funnycar since 1996 entitled “SOMEDAY.” The layered hook strolls through the entire song as Ben poignantly remarks the statement many of us have said over and over during this insanity, "this year is gonna last forever."
Thank you fellas for hitting the nail on the head. Check it and the band's FB page (www.facebook.com/alcoholfunnycar) out for all of the info... .

Premiering today on Northwest Music Scene is the new video for “Someday“ from the legendary Seattle band Alcohol Funnycar
Girl Trouble just posted this about their number one fan. Pretty cool. Check them out...
We don't do this often but this time is different. Girl Trouble wishes a big Happy Birthday to our amazing friend, Bill Schlanbusch, today. Bill has the record for attending more GT shows than anybody over the years. A true Tacoma scenester, he's bailed us out more than a few times, and his participation in our 35th anniversary was instrumental (see what we did there?) in making that one of the best events ever by adding his musical skills to Von Wheelie's Express. Thanks for everything Bill and have the grooviest birthday ever! (Photo by Eric M. Shull)
Currently playing for everyone out there who have been struggling through these crazy time. There may be, albeit small, rumblings about getting the station back up and running. No time frame. No plan yet but at least we might be in the conversation soon. Until then...stay strong and stay safe... !

Welp...if you've been following along then you already know this virus is for real and has gone into full automation in accordance to CSU's decision to close the school and every facet of said school. It's unfortunate but if we as a society need to just "rip the band aid" in order to shut this s**t down...then let's just rip it.
So that being said, I will not be doing my show today or any other day until further notice. I know...how will you get through these dark days without my witty banter, this golden voice or the grungey goodies that you come to 89.3FM every wednesday from 3-5pm to get? Well, do what I'm doing...stay inside, drink a lot and know the less people you have to see/talk to in person, the better. It's like a dream come true!
Stay safe, . WCSB will stand through this and be with you when the world comes back. Later!

Need a cure for the ever-present ? Don't be gross...wash your hands...don't use public phones. It's pretty simple. Now that we're past that, check out today's show on www.wcsb.org and call in if you have the immune system for it at 216.687.3515...
