This is where it all began for me with A Christmas Story fan interaction! 🎄💫
Back in May of 2006, Scott Schwartz invited me to the Chiller Show in Meadowlands, NJ during the weekend of October 27th, 2006. That weekend, I learned how to sign autographs ✍️📸—a whole new experience! I interacted with complete strangers, some who loved me ❤️ and others who, well… not so much 😅. All in the name of Grover Dill 💪👊.
That weekend, I met over 2,000 fans 🤯 and spent the entire time on cloud 9 ☁️. I even met my future ex-wife that weekend! 😂 It was then that I truly realized how much this movie meant to thousands of people—it blew my mind 🤯.
What’s even more amazing is this old video of me from that weekend 🎥. I was so young, and yet, my message has stayed the same: Even in dark times, try to stay positive ✨💫. Whether you believe in a "God" or not, or what that means to you, for me, today, it’s about divine energy. Back then, I saw God as something outside of me, greater than me—something that would punish me if I did bad.
But through my own spiritual journey over the past five years, I’ve learned something fascinating: God is everyone, everything, everywhere, all the time 🌌
🙏. That means God dwells within us, as us. What’s even more intriguing is that this is backed by science 🧬🔬 and referenced thousands of times in the Bible 📜. I’m not a religious man, but I’ve come to see that we are all tiny slivers of God—connected in ways we can not imagine and don’t often talk about.
This journey has helped me look beyond the daily grind 🏃♂️💼 and dive deep into how my childhood experiences shaped my beliefs. I’ve learned to surrender to the pain I created from life's experiences and fall in love with all of who I am ❤️🩹.

I, Grover Dill, am willing to do something crazy for The A Christmas Story Fans, again. And this one thing is something that I have never done before.
Do you remember the post calling Grover Dill out for trying to make the movie more relevant? The A Christmas Story Family turned what seemed to be a bully campaign into a Legendary moment. Giving praise to Cynthia Wentzler for being brave enough to post her thoughts and take a little beating for doing so. We found her bravery to be so intriguing, we invited her onto our Podcast. Turns out, she and her family are HUGE fans of the movie and are very loving and kind. Her brave post gave birth to… get this…

And someone commented, “Mister Dill, If Ya Nasty.” In reference to an 80s song Janet Jackson released called, “Nasty”.
And BAMB!!! That one stuck! Whoever that was, please stand up!
And now I use that as a signature line to practically everything I do ACS related.
It became “Our Thang.”

"Discovering the Stories Behind A Christmas Story and How Its Legacy Still Shapes Our lives"
Story telling is the backbone of Human History.
And there has been some remarkable story tellers that have influenced our way of life. Deeply embedding morals, values, and principles that we decide to pass down to our generations.
One of these stories is about a little boy in an urban neighborhood in the 1940's who's life's mission was to dodge the bullies, and get a Red Ryder for Christmas.
This is a true story about Jean Shepard's child hood. And it turn's out, Jean happens to be one of the most iconic story tellers of his day. So Iconic, that 80 plus years later, we are still living his experience through the movie he wrote, " A Christmas Story." And today, the cast of his movie is carrying the torch to help in keeping his Legacy Alive.
