Ever wondered how the items in our shop come to life?
It all starts with my journal.

Every phrase and piece of art comes from something I’ve walked through: grief, loss, and trying to hold on to hope.

These pieces have helped me heal.

That’s why each item means so much to me. And why it’s a little hard to say goodbye.

We’re closing our shop temporarily to make space for more honest conversations, and new tools that I hope will meet you where you are.

I just wanted to create cards that actually said something people would want to keep.

As we get ready to retire this chapter, I’ve been thinking about where it all started… and what’s next.

It may look a little different going forward, but we’re not going anywhere.
We’re just making space to do things with even more intention. 💛

We’re starting to clear out the shop.

Every item - cards, prints, apparel - is 20% off until it’s gone. The shop will officially close on August 18, and nothing from this collection will come back.

This isn't a flash sale or a random markdown. It’s a reset.

I’ve been rethinking what this space is really for and how I want to show up in it. Moving forward, The Lovely Letter Co. will be slower and more focused. More reflection. More meaning. Less noise.

It’s hard to say goodbye to something that’s been really special.

Over the years, I’ve heard from so many of you about how these products helped you get through something hard,
or helped you show up for someone you care about.

That’s why we started this shop in the first place.

Now it’s time to retire all of our current products.
But before they go, I hope they find the people who need them.

For a while, I felt like I had to keep up. I thought I needed to make new products all the time and follow every trend to grow The Lovely Letter Co.

But lately, I’ve realized that’s not why I started this.

This business wasn’t meant to compete with big stores like Target or American Greetings.
It was meant to help people feel seen, supported, and encouraged especially in the hard moments.

Somewhere along the way, I got a little off track.
So now, I’m slowing down.
Not stopping, but just getting back to what matters most.

Things might look a little different from here on out.
The way we release products may change.
But the reason behind it all is staying the same.

I’ve had Hope’s Gonna Find You by Ellie Holcomb on repeat lately. It’s been helping me reflect on what I actually believe about hope.

For so long, I’ve felt like hope was something I had to hold onto tightly, like it was all up to me to stay strong and keep believing.

But this song gave me a different picture.

What if hope isn’t something we have to chase or force?
What if it’s already holding us even when we feel too tired to hold anything at all?

That thought has been such a relief.
A quiet reminder that I’m not carrying everything alone.

Wow. The past month has been wild- but so full of beauty and growth.

Between planning our first In Bloom event (can’t wait to share more soon!), launching new apparel, adding fresh stationery, and working with some amazing small businesses… it’s been a lot.
