I've always been an iced coffee girlie. And then I went to Sri Lanka. ☕️

Turns out it's pretty hard to hold onto your iced latte in a place where tea is basically a love language.

It started on the plane (thank you, Dilmah Tea for introducing me to Ceylon tea).

By the end of the trip I was reaching for tea over coffee without even thinking about it. And somewhere between all the steeping and sipping, tea taught me something I didn't know I needed...

slow down.

Every cup has one constant, whether it's a perfect chai or a tea steeped for two minutes.

That constant is waiting.

And waiting is the exact thing I spend most of my life trying to rush past, mistaking it for falling behind, when really it's where life keeps trying to hand me something good.

That's the heart of this newest design: Slow down, you're doing fine.

The pressure you feel today isn't yours to carry. And you're doing just fine, even when it doesn't feel like it.

😬Turns out, healing doesn’t work that way.

For so long after loss, I chased the feeling of ‘normal,’ believing that once I felt like myself again, the grief would be over.

But the more I tried to return to my old life, the more stuck I felt.

Here’s what I’ve learned: healing isn’t about going back to who you were before. It’s about learning to carry your grief forward, to integrate the loss into the story of who you’re becoming. It’s a journey of finding new footing, new purpose, and new ways of being in the world.

If you’ve ever found yourself waiting for the grief to end, please know that you aren’t alone.

The path of healing is rarely linear, and it looks different for everyone. But even in the midst of the mess, there is grace and growth to be found.

I’ve been reflecting on this a lot lately, and I’ve shared more of my own healing journey on the blog. The link is in my bio if you’d like to read more.

Whatever season of loss or healing you find yourself in today, please know that your experience is valid, your timeline is your own, and I see you. 🤍

June is World Infertility Awareness Month, and I want to take a moment to talk about something that doesn't always get said out loud.

There's a grief that a lot of women carry quietly... the grief of wanting a family and not having one yet.

And summer has a way of making that grief feel louder. The cookouts, the baby showers, the weddings, the family dinners where someone asks "so when are you two having kids?" She's still showing up to all of it. She's still smiling. But she's also still noticing what's missing.

She's not asking you to fix it. She just needs to know you're thinking about her and that she's not navigating this alone.

If someone came to mind reading this... reach out. A text, a phone call, a "hey, you've been on my mind lately." It doesn't have to be a big conversation. Just check in. She'll open up when she's ready.

And if you want to send her something she can actually hold onto — a card that says what you're not sure how to say — that's exactly why The Lovely Letter Co. exists. Every card we make is for moments like this one.

Shop at the link below or send us a message and we'll help you find the right one. 💌

Summer has this quiet way of just... happening to you.

One day it's May, and then suddenly it's August and you're left wondering...
Where did the time go?
Why do I feel so tired?
How did I miss my chance to finally do that thing, go to that place, or just be for a second?

That guilt is the worst. And honestly? I don't think it has anything to do with not doing enough. I think it's just what happens when we move through a season without any real intention and just let life happen to us.

So I sat down and asked myself… What kind of summer do I actually need? Not want. NEED. And that one question kind of led me to this...

I ended up writing 5 journal prompts to help work through it, and honestly it was one of the most helpful things I've done in a while.

It helped me stop measuring my summer against everyone else's highlight reel and just figure out what mine is supposed to look like.

If summer already feels like it's slipping, it's not too late. There's still time to make this summer feel like yours.

Before the Lovely Letter Co. existed, I was the person who loved addressing envelopes.

There’s something about taking the time to make someone’s name look beautiful… a moment created for them to feel seen.

And that’s what we’re doing.

Send For You is our way of making sure cards actually make it to the people who need them.

You pick the card, we handwrite your message, address the envelope in calligraphy, and mail it straight to their door. No stamps, no tracking down the post office, no “ugh I’ve been meaning to send that for weeks.”

People have told me they’ve kept the envelope.

That they cried before they even opened it. That just seeing their name written that carefully made them feel seen and loved.

That’s everything to me.

Life gets busy and cards don’t always make it… I don’t want that to be the reason.

So we handle the whole thing, start to finish, with the kind of care that makes the person on the other end feel like someone really showed up for them.

Which card will you send first? 🤍

In Bloom is officially SOLD OUT ‼️

But we couldn’t let that stop us from introducing you to the organizations that are helping make this day what it is.

Each one is doing meaningful, tangible work for women in our community, and they deserve to be known beyond this event.

Give them a follow, explore what they offer, and if something resonates, reach out.

We’re so grateful to be sharing the room with them on May 2nd 🤍

‼️REGISTRATION IS ALMOST FULL

This Saturday, come shop with us at In Bloom and meet some of the most intentional small businesses we know. 🌸

Here’s who you’ll find:
💌 The Lovely Letter Co. cards designed for the moments that matter most, including grief, love, and encouragement, for when you want to show up for someone but don’t know what to say.

👜 The Trove: thoughtfully restored vintage and leather bags, and every purchase directly supports Reclamation Ministry, a nonprofit serving women who have experienced sexual harm. Reclaimed bags for reclaimed women.

🌸 Homegrown & Handmade Botanical Art: Lori is a pollinator gardener in Cleveland who grows, forages, and preserves real botanicals and then turns them into one-of-a-kind jewelry. Every piece starts from seed, no two are alike, and the imperfections are part of what makes each one beautiful.

🤍 Nóod by Chic: created by a mom of four who realized she had spent years delivering for everyone else while her own body was quietly paying the cost. Nóod is a comfort apparel line rooted in the science of toxic stress and weathering, and it was built specifically for Black women who deserve softness without having to earn it first.

We can’t wait to see you there. 🌷
