I went back and forth as to whether or not to post this, however I didn't want you all thinking I wasn't showing previews because I wasn't working. I have had home renovations going on and my brother was in the hospital recently and my Dad still is, it's why I haven't posted in awhile. So, basically, nothing this year has been as I'd expected. It's slowed my timeline down. However, I am feeling hurt by this as it was an original idea that I'd had and took awhile to brainstorm and develop. I also had to wait to start to hear back from the NIV publishers about licensing. And to be honest, this project will take about 7 months to do properly. I knew it was a risk when I posted my preview. But, I learned a hard lesson here. I can't share previews of my products, because there are some who do have more time available to create it before I can with everything going on with my family. I know this type of thing exists in all sectors of business, and I'm not trying to shame this person, but I had hoped in the Christian business world this wouldn't be an issue. So, I do apologize, I won't be able to share much of any previews especially of the big things I have planned. I will still be releasing my version. And it won't be a 3 month project, because producing a quality Study Bible takes a lot more time. I wanted to let you know why you won't see as many previews anymore on here.

I don’t usually post selfies, but today I turn 31 and I took a risk and cut my hair to the style I’d been wanting forever and I LOVE it! It suits my personality better than the old style I kept forever. 😅

I’m a pretty introverted person, but I want to share who I am with you all as well! This is me. Nerdy, lifelong learner, interested in all things, adhd mess, and loving this life the Lord has given me! ❤️

Hope y’all are having a great day! I’m treating myself to some girl time and getting my nails done later 🥰 Something I literally never do 😅🤣

So, I know many have been waiting to hear back about the NIV deal. Unfortunately, I did not receive licensing. I can’t say anything else.

But, not to fret! The Lord is leading this business, and I don’t believe that will be my last opportunity to secure licensing and I will keep trying. This also allows me to maintain creative control of my designs :)

Also, the design will move forward in ASV + KJV. I’m not sure if I can meet the original deadline of Christmas this year. Because, that deadline was drafted with me starting about 2 months ago. But, I will get on it and we will see! I may be able to get it out by Christmas. Either way, it’s in the works! And I’m excited!

I didn’t feel I could start on a Bible until I got word back on the licensing and now I can! There is no reason to be upset with the NIV Publishers either because I truly believe this worked out how God intended. They had legitimate concerns and I respect and can appreciate that. I also had my concerns. Mutually, it wasn’t in either of our best interests, or your best interests, to continue this deal.

Thank you all for the support! I hope you’ll stick around because I have so many plans, ideas, and I can’t wait to share them with the world!

Remember, God is in control, even when a situation isn’t what you thought it might be. And He doesn’t close one door without opening another.

Sneak peek!
This is a notebook/journal I’m working on and I’m obsessed! 😍

It will come in blank, dot grid, & lined versions. It has 13 sections, 7 sections within those dividers, and other paper types such as Cornell, lists, etc. It also comes with a pack of matching washi and possibly some stickers 😄

Had a lot of fun creating this one ☺️
Proverbs was the first book of the Bible I ever read and I do not regret starting there! There is so much wisdom in Proverbs! Don’t expect to understand everything in it the first time through especially if you’re new to the faith. But, it is such an amazing book!

Widgy
iPadOS +iOS
(Android app suggestions coming as well!)

Using Affinity Designer to design all the widgets graphically, then I used Widgy to assign click actions to all of them to open these apps! I love this app! You don’t need to be a designer to make them tho, there are elements in the app you can use :)

There is a premium option, but you can do a lot with the free option. The paid option opens more slots for widgets essentially.

There is so much this app can do and it’s updated frequently and has a Reddit community where people share things and ask questions. The dev is in the Reddit as well.

There is an explore tab to download widgets created by others and I have uploaded some there as well. If you’re looking for the customizability that it seems Apple will never give us, this is the app for you!

There is a learning curve, but there’s an active Reddit as mentioned before and there are videos on the app as well! And if you just play around with it you figure it out pretty quick!

Since we are a tech/digital community, my aim with this platform is not just to sell you things. I want to bring you value and let you get the most from your devices. They’re smart devices and we should be letting them handle as much as we can so that we can enjoy life!

I also love exploring tech and streamlining life with it. So, this platform will bring you Digital Bible Journaling related content and valuable tech related content that is relevant to this community!

Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself when you might want to cry. 😅 I spilled water and then immediately coffee on my Magic Keyboard trying to dodge a bee a few minutes ago. But, it’s going to be alright. It’s just a keyboard. It did appear to still work, but letting it dry out. We shall see. Nature out here costing me big 😅🤣

And for my lovely followers who have already boarded the digital Bible Journaling train, an update for y’all! I’ve been working harddd on my website! Made tons of graphics and designed 2 webpages from the ground up.

It took a week, cost a lot of sleep, but thankfully no coding was involved. 😅 I used a page builder, but I started with blank pages. I finally finished 2 pages! They are responsive on alllll devices! 😅 That is harder than it sounds!

My heart is overjoyed and at the same time overwhelmed, but the Lord is taking the overwhelm and replacing it with strength!

My Dad has made progress, but he's still very confused and can't find his words half the time. They aren't really sure if he has 6 months or if he could live years. We really don't know much, but I know so far God has come thru on everything.

He's making progress doctors didn't think was possible, but I knew because God laid it on my heart in prayer right after this all happened. I don't know if he'll be ever be back to 100%, but he's happy and he loves God. He said God got him through the worst of it! 🙌♥️

I'm still here for any questions or help anyone might have, but I just don't know how much I'll be able to post until we adjust. He's a fall risk right now although his mobility is improving daily. So, all my attention has to be on keeping him safe ♥️

Lord give me the desires of my heart that they would line up with your will! Might make some waves with this one, but that’s okay! 😅 Christ calms the waves and the storms 😉

I’m aware there is an overall theme of Victory in the Lord in this passage, but verse 4 is where I wanted to focus while also pointing out the other passage focuses along the side!

There’s a large sector of Christian society today that believes the “name it and claim it” preachings of the prosperity gospel. These teachings are false. It seeks to out man in control of God that He would bend to our will, not the other way around. So, if I can use my platform to spread truth amidst a sea of socially charged lies, I will 🙌🏼❤️ May the Lord reveal truth that the veil might be lifted and the lost regain sight. 🙌🏼

I’ve saved all the elements I used here as well and thinking of offering my Bible Study notes and graphics as part of a website membership. Where each month members would receive all the graphics for my studies. This membership will be paid for a small monthly fee as these do take me quite awhile to create. But, essentially it’s like a designed devotionals you’d be getting each month. Let me know if that’s something you all are interested in! Because, I’ve had multiple people ask to buy or where to buy my notes. So, I’m considering it ☺️

Not what some would call instagram worthy. Raw, exposed, & unashamed for my need for Christ. As Christians we usually put our best foot forward on social media, but I think people need this view of the struggles that come with this life. It’s easy to have faith when life is good, when the winds threaten to blow your life apart like a whirlwind, it can feel a lot harder to stay firmly rooted. Yet, it is possible! Dig your heels into the solid ground & cling to God!

A lot is going on with my family right now & anger is threatening to break us down. But, I will remain steadfast in the Lord. I pray peace and comfort for all of us involved. Especially my Dad!

For those that don’t know, he’s still in the hospital and making very little recovery. He has hope for a good recovery, however without proper well-informed treatment he will not recover.

He’s been a heavy alcoholic for about 40 years. He caused us a lot of pain growing up, yet by the grace of God we’ve found forgiveness.

I tried for months to get my family to get him help, because I couldn’t do it alone legally. I needed more family support. However, I never got that support even when I begged. I had a feeling this was coming soon so I tried my best to get them to help me get him into treatment.

Now, he’s in the hospital with Wernicke-Korsakoff’s Syndrome. It’s a fully preventable & treatable form of alcohol related brain damage. It has been hard knowing they think he might have 6 months to live for something that was preventable & treatable a month ago when I was begging for help.

However, the Lord gave me a wash of calm right after it happened that everything was okay & in His control. And the only times he’s done that have been seemingly impossible situations that He DID turn around even when it seemed impossible.

So, that’s where this prayer comes from. Remember when you’re angry, even if you have every right to be, that human anger accomplishes nothing for the Kingdom of God. We must push it aside & know that each of us will answer for our choices, this is not mine to repay nor judge.

Part of the mock-up I’m getting ready for the NIV 🥰 Even if I don’t get approved, you all will still be getting this Bible in ASV + KJV translations around Christmas this year😉 Release Date is set for Dec 23rd, 2022.

It’s going to take me awhile because it will include commentaries, study notes, devotionals, maps, charts, and illustrations, but I have my schedule ready on how I plan to tackle this massive project and I’m excited!

You’re going to get a journal with 12 sections, a sections dashboard with some extra sections, I’m just so excited! This is part of what I was talking about when I said I had big, exciting things planned for this year 😉

I will be forgoing the linked topical index on this one to save space and time since I’m adding so much more. However, you’ll have much better study material in this one ☺️

Just some updates, about to head back to the hospital this morning. So, if it takes me a bit to respond to your comments and messages that’s why. The hospital is out of town for me so I’ve been driving a lot lately. But, I have faith that God’s Will will be done in this situation 🙌🏼 I would very greatly appreciate any prayers!

Truly diving into the Sermon on the Mount over multiple weeks has been a true blessing! And making this really drilled into my head that sin begins in the heart.

As always, the Bible I’m using is linked in my bio. Now, onto the meat!

We don’t have to act on our desires to conceive sin, but our desires when full-grown bring forth death. So, we need to be mindful of our hearts, our thoughts, our inner person. Because, it’s that inner person who gets judged. It’s not the outer person we show the world. It’s the inner person who no one knows except us and God.

The Holy Spirit searches our depths as He alone has searched the depths of God. I shudder to think of what’s down there inside me that I may not even be aware of!

So, the time it took to create this I really got to spend meditating on the importance of trusting Jesus for a clean heart. The remainder of this chapter and all of chapter 6 are on how to combat a sinful heart essentially. And it’s through living a Christ-like life, which we can only do with Christ within us! I really enjoyed this study!

Also! I’m putting together a video on the process of me making this! :D It won’t be out tonight I don’t think. It may take a bit to edit. It’s going to be time lapse style. It will either be posted as a story or reel depending on how long it ends up being.

HOWEVER! I did lose a chunk of it because I forgot I was on my Air which has less storage space and it didn’t save when I stopped that segment. But, I did get most of it! I was even recording when the error popped up so I’ll be sure to share that as a little blooper! Haha.
