From the DMI Artist in Residence Steve Azar:
"Here is the official video for my Killin’ It Killin’ Me” video. Richard and Barry played on it, recorded in studio B, and Studio Manager Austin Rutledge engineered the recording. Also Austin and recent grad Stuart Angle, who was my DMI intern this past year, filmed me playing piano in Studio A. I sent the footage to my son in Los Angeles and here’s what he turned the video into. I just want to share; thank you guys so much for being a part of it." -Steve

HIRED! Congratulations to recent graduate Stuart Angle who accepted a position as Sound Technician at Mississippi State University.
Among the many responsibilities at his new job, he will be setting up, adjusting, and running audio equipment for University events such as inaugurations, commencements, concerts, and sporting events.
Stuart earned the BS in Entertainment Industry Studies with a concentration in Entertainment Industry Entrepreneurship.

About the DMI

The DMI is an independent center under the College of Arts & Sciences at Delta State University. Our mission is to provide our students with a broad and thorough education in the technological, creative, and business areas of the entertainment industries. The DMI offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Industry Studies. This innovative program is intended to develop a broad range of skills in audio engineering technology, entertainment industry entrepreneurship, and multimedia technology that will give students a foundational base of knowledge for working in various entertainment industry careers. Our alumni will be well prepared for the technical, business, and legal issues that confront the practicing entertainment industry professional today and in the future.
