✨ Walking through time in the heart of Chicago!

Megan and I spent the day at the Chicago History Museum, where every corner felt like stepping into a living story. From the city’s beginnings to its cultural milestones, it reminded us that history isn’t just about the past—it’s about shaping the way we move forward.

✨ MLTR.. Megan & Lester Truly Rock in Chicago Theater! 🎸🎙️🎫

From cassette tapes to live stages… what a journey! 🎶

Back to the hustle and bustle of the USA, and right away Megan and I made our way to Downtown Chicago for Michael Learns To Rock’s Take Us To Your Heart Tour 2025. Honestly, it felt like stepping back in time. From singing along to 25 Minutes, Paint My Love, and of course Take Me To Your Heart during high school days… to finally hearing them live, side by side with Megan — it was surreal and magical. 💕

As the Asian proverb says, “Better to see something once than hear about it a thousand times.” And wow, was it true last night. The nostalgia, the crowd singing, and the memories it brought back made it all worth it.

✨ When dinner turns into an experience…

“There was nowhere to go but everywhere, so just keep on rolling under the stars.” – Jack Kerouac 🌌

That’s exactly how it felt dining in the heart of River North at — like life paused so we could just enjoy the moment.

Fresh oysters and a crisp Caesar salad set the stage. Then came the stars: I went for their signature Bar Steak Flat Iron with spinach, fries, and the best green peppercorn sauce (paired with their house Chianti 🍷). Megan savored the Braised Short Rib Fusilli — 10-hour ragu, mascarpone, parmesan, and a refreshing Pomegranate Hibiscus lemonade.

From flavors to atmosphere, it’s the kind of dinner you don’t just eat — you remember.
