1984 Publishing Books, LPs, and Film. 1984 Publishing brings premium, hardbound, full color art and gift books to coffee tables worldwide. We welcome book proposals.

Smart non-fiction and fiction titles are also a priority for the imprint. Founder Matthew Chojnacki wrote three award-winning art books of his own, "Alternative Movie Posters: Film Art from the Underground" (volumes I and II), plus the '80s vinyl cover art book "Put the Needle on the Record: The 1980s at 45 Revolutions per Minute." Chojnacki has more than 20 years of business experience, and recen

tly helped produce several 2016/2017 documentaries, including "24 x 36: A Movie about Movie Posters," "30 Years of Garbage: The Garbage Pail Kids Story," the LGBT doc "Scream Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street," the political music film "Beyond Barricades," and "Yoghurt Utopia" (about a maverick Spanish psychiatrist and his patients, who broke out of an asylum and into big business). Without artists, art books wouldn't exist. 1984 Publishing is proud to offer all authors profit sharing rather than the industry standard of $1 to $2 USD per book in royalties.
