MadWerkz Studios creates cinematic virtual production for Thumbs Up Inventions' newest product, Blah.

Joddy Eric Matthews directed, Christopher Kennedy produced, and Jason Mitchwell did look development and virtual cinematography. JusBen rigged the various custom Metahuman Characters. The show was color graded in LogC4 with Resolve using a 2499 DRT.

Looking for a high-impact introduction spot, Thumbs Up Inventions engaged MadWerkz, looking for an animated video of their newest product. MadWerkz created a cinematic presentation in Unreal Engine including custom digital cameras based on the Alexa 35 and 65 platform, and Panavision lenses.

Interval is an independent science fiction thriller directed by Marquette Williams and stars Robert Bray, Ginny Williams, Michael James, and Dasia Benton. The film used the RENDER Grant from MadWerkz to finish 75 visual effects shots and train the crew on high end cinematic workflows.

MadWerkz’ Joddy Eric Matthews set to direct feature documentary IF I Can, You Can, The William Aden Story with Be Right Ventures. Branson Wright of HBO’s Women of Troy and King of The Block will produce with Matthews.

The film documents the life of the handicapped former University of Cincinnati Basketball Player.

The Streetlight Commitee is here at American Film Market!

MadWerkz recently completed a HDR Color Grade for the feature film The Streelight Commitee. Color Grade for Director Rahim Branch and Chicago-based IllOhio Films. The 7-minute teaser was graded at MadWerkz ATL by Joddy Eric Matthews in Assimilate Scratch and then in Davinci Resolve by Benjamin Brooks for both HDR (PQ 2084) and SDR delivery.

The feature-length crime drama tells the story of neighborhood residents who take the law into their own hands. Cinematographer Candace Majors shot the film on RED Weapon in 5k, and Branch directed it.

It brought me immense joy to come in and work with my brother Marquette on his feature, Interval. I was so proud of the work done by everyone on the team. Especially the three ladies who served as A Cam on the Alexa. Bravo ladies!
