It was a special privilege to meet and chat with singer/songwriter, Lucy Isabel, at the Tree Lawn in Cleveland. Originally from NJ but now living in Nashville, she spent her precious few hours before the gig at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. So, I’m trying to imagine how this conversation went… ‘How can we bring music to the streets of Cleveland? Well, maybe we can rent a flatbed truck and use it as a stage, park it in front of Johnny’s Restaurant and have a concert…’ It actually works! Cleveland’s piano man, Mike Petrone, courageously accompanied me while I sang, Til There Was You, at Brother’s Lounge. I appreciate Mike’s talent and sense of humor - which one will need if we share a stage! 😂
