Every Christmas Eve I take my family photos at home ❤️ Just me, my husband, and our cats. It's a tradition I started a few years ago and it's my favorite way to end the year. I even edit all the photos that night before any plans, a little challenge I give myself. What unique traditions do you have?

POV: You took your engagement photos on a rainy fall day and your photographer looks like this at the end of the session 😂 Luckily my clients were covered by Squire’s Castle and stayed dry the whole photoshoot.

Clients: “Did she hate our photos? She never posted them.”
Me: Absolutely not 😂 I just… forgot to post because life has been lifing between editing marathons and emails 💀

I’m notorious for forgetting to share every session and wedding. Your photos always end up on my website long before they make it to my socials, so if you haven’t seen your session here, don’t worry. I promise I’ll remember to post here eventually 😅

This session from last year is one of those forgotten gems. A dreamy post-elopement shoot on the Avon shoreline with Lake Erie glowing behind us. If you know me, you know Lake Erie is in my top five favorite things about Cleveland. It’s my calm place. And this day delivered: sunshine, a little breeze, and two newlyweds soaking up every moment. We wrapped things up at one of their favorite local bars, which was the perfect end to the evening.

I’m wrapping up edits on my last wedding of the year, and I thought I’d be easing into slow season…but somehow I’m still busy (and grateful for it!). I have a few engagement sessions left before the year ends. If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, now’s the time 😉

Happy Halloween to all my fellow wedding rule breakers! 👻

There’s nothing I love more than couples who make their wedding day completely theirs and this Halloween-themed fall wedding was the ultimate example. 🎃

We’re talking a costume contest, an epic dance floor, and guests who came ready to party. From a skeleton puffing on a cigar to pirates, fairies, and movie characters dancing the night away, it was one of those celebrations that reminded me exactly why I love photographing weddings that break the rules.

Because who says your wedding has to look a certain way? This one is proof that you can make your day completely your own. Spooky, silly, and absolutely unforgettable. 🖤✨

Why am I like this? 😂 Clients probably wouldn't even notice the trash and marks on the ground, but I did and had to fix it. Sometimes I obsess on fixing the little things because they bother me too much.

We shot these next to a PARKING LOT. 😅

Sometimes wedding days don’t go as planned and that’s completely okay. We were originally supposed to head to a popular photo spot for Chris and Mary’s portraits, but the day had other ideas! With only about 20 minutes for their newlywed portraits, I started looking around the reception venue and spotted a small and shady patch of green lawn right next to the parking lot. I was a little nervous at first, but we made it work! The light hit perfectly, the couple was full of laughter and suddenly that simple little spot felt just right. Sometimes the simplest and most unexpected spots can surprise you. This is your reminder that all you really need is good light, genuine connection and a little creativity. 💛
