Want to take your time with wedding portraits, but your timeline feels way too packed? Here’s an idea: do a pre-wedding portrait session! That’s what Jennifer and Nathan did. We took their pre-wedding portraits at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens a few weeks before their wedding, and it was such a beautiful and relaxed session. They even practiced their choreographed first dance in their wedding outfits and I got the cutest spinning shots 😍💃✨

Because of that, they got to fully enjoy their wedding day without needing to step away from their guests, stress about time or about commuting between locations. They got to be fully present with their family and friends all day long.

It was such an honor to photograph these two at the Cleveland Arcade after their vow renewal earlier that day. The love between them, and the excitement of becoming parents, made the whole shoot feel so special. There was something really beautiful about the way they looked at each other, like they’ve already lived a whole love story, and now they’re stepping into a brand new chapter. From the quiet moments to the laughter in between shots, it was a joy to witness and capture.

Anthony & Chelsea are getting married this weekend and I seriously can’t wait! We took their engagement photos last fall and split the session into two parts. These were from the second location, where their sweet dog made an appearance 🐶 🍂

Confession time: I’m officially out of captions. 😅
I’ve always found it easier to express myself through photos than words. Writing captions has always felt a little awkward for me, like I’m trying to translate something that was never meant to be explained in words.

But in the world of social media, SEO, and algorithms, captions matter. And as much as I’d love to just post a photo and let it do all the talking (because honestly, it can), I end up spending way too much time overthinking what to say. Should it be deep and meaningful? Fun and light? Informative? Relatable? All of the above? 😩

Sometimes I wish I could just post “here’s something I love” and call it a day. So if you ever read a caption and it sounds like I struggled to write it… I probably did. 😂 But at the end of the day, I just want to share work that makes you feel something. And if the words don’t always land, I hope the photos still do. 💛

Also yes… I totally used ChatGPT for this caption. 😂 Because sometimes you just need a little help from a robot friend.
