When science and dance collide, it’s kind of my jam.
One of the best tips I picked up recently? Toaster time!
Keep the limbs parallel to the camera, because cameras see in two dimensions, but bodies move in three. So when a dancer can keep arms and legs on the same plane, it keeps everything symmetrical and beautiful, nothing gets burned.
If a limb moves too far forward or back (toward or away from the camera), you lose the clarity of the shape, the lines get distorted, and that powerful pose just won’t hit right.
Stay in the slot, don’t get burned! 🔥🍞

💃 Big thanks to Alexandria Nagi, Kate Berk, and Kelly Korfhage for their patience, good humor, and flawless technique.
