Here's a different view of the Canadian National mainline at Battle Creek, Michigan, with the historic Grand Trunk depot in view. Opened in 1907, it closed to passenger service in 1971. Today, the building is home to our host partner, Community Action. Our live train cameras are mounted in the south tower of the structure, capturing approximately 20 daily CN freights, Amtrak’s Blue Water (2) and Wolverine (6) service trains, as well as Norfolk Southern’s Michigan Line locals, which utilize trackage rights on CN’s Flint Subdivision from CP Baron to CP Gord.
