3 bananas for $1, or 3 hours of college radio for FREE???

Easy choice.

I'll be stepping in for our buddy Neal on Dare Waves on WRUW 91.1 FM this Wednesday 5-8PM for a nice long dabble through modern-ish post-punk, spotlighting recent and upcoming concerts, and almost certainly some impulsive diversions. Join me for some old favorites and some songs you've never heard before. Promise!

We've got new music (and a tour announcement!) from The Bouncing Souls, The Su***de Machines and The Flatliners, PLUS Laura Jane Grace is coming to Grog Shop next week. If that's not a sign to do an hour of punk rock tonight, what the heck is???

WOW WOW WOW!!!!! Thank you all so much for helping us hit some big numbers this year. It is such an honor to be a part of this community and I’m amazed by this generous support. You all rock!!!

THANK YOU!!! 😄 You’ve made WRUW’s 2026 Telethon a fantastic success! 🙌

We raised $102,326.71 that we’ll be able to use for improving the station for another year, and with $15,536.01 given to the endowment, we’ve received a huge boost to our long-term security.

Keep an eye out 👀 for updates on our Premium Pick-Up Party in May, after which we’ll be shipping out premiums for those who aren’t able to join us in person.

Your support means everything to us, and we are honored to keep the airwaves of Cleveland populated with more music, fewer hits. 📻❤️

The Telethon edition of Lonely Little Kitsch is TODAY! Tune in at 5PM Eastern, enjoy some music, make a donation if you can, and know that however you show up for us, you are an important member of this college radio community. Luckily I didn't need to mine this box of telethon ideas from the late 80s/early 90s for pitch ideas, but I sure could have! WRUW has been going strong since 1967 and with your help we keep getting better and better.
