🐴*Accepting New Clients/Training Horses*🐴

Join Quiet Meadow Farm at River Run Stables in Novelty, Ohio. We have a limited number of stalls available for full-board for new clients/horses, joining our Lesson / Training programs.

We show locally (CVF, Brave Horse, WEC Ohio) and travel to larger shows such as Kentucky, HITS Culpepper, Tryon, WEC Ocala, Brownland, Lamplight, etc. taking riders from intermediate up to National Finals, Devon, Indoors, etc. in the Hunter/Jumpers/Equitations. We take green horses and motivated riders through the levels, no matter what your goals are we would love to help you or your horse reach them.

Facility: 12x12 large, airy stalls with rubber mats, Nelson waterers, and commercial fans in every stall. 100x200 Indoor, large all-weather outdoor and all-weather turnout paddocks. Grass fields (weather permitting). Tack room with individual lockers, 4-wash stalls with hot/cold water, laundry, restrooms and a lounge. Quality hay/grain fed 3x per day. Stalls cleaned daily.

Boarders MUST take lessons or be part of our training program with our facility trainers (Stefanie Portman / Shirley Kopas). We are a private facility with no outside trainers. You do not have to show, but all boarders must take lessons or be in a training program. We do not do "just board" due to the limited number of horses we keep our facility at to ensure we are not overcrowded.

Immediate opening at our Lexington practice for an Imaging Technician!

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working, self-starter to join our imaging department. Once trained, primary responsibilities will include performing MRI, CT, PET, and nuclear scintigraphy scans as part of a dynamic team. Secondary responsibilities included assisting with ultrasonography and radiography, updating medical records, pre-operative preparation of patients, and other procedures. The imaging service is busy with a diverse caseload, including foals, sport horses, and racehorses. The variety and learning opportunities keep this job interesting and engaging.

This full-time position requires candidates to have two years of horse handling experience other than their own horses. Experience with Thoroughbreds or Standardbreds preferred. The hours are daytime, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required. Working well independently and with others is essential. Applicants must be capable of lifting 50-75 lbs. consistently and standing for long periods. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Job Type: Full-time. Days Monday-Friday, with some overtime required.

Competitive benefits include Health (PPO or HDHP), dental and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401k with a 401k match, and company-related discounts. Compensation is based on previous experience.

Spring cleaning means sheath cleaning at K.B.'s Mobile Sheath Cleaning. Get on Kristen R. Boltz schedule now while she still has openings!

The time has come where I have finally got a chance to sit down and post a very belated schedule due to things being packed full!

I know this is last minute, but this evening I will be heading to VIRGINIA! Very limited spots available. Tomorrow, April 9th, I will be in the Keswick area. While I am heading home that afternoon, if your availability is open, I can happily fit you in after my larger morning drop!

Wednesday, April 10th, I will be in the Bolivar, OH in the AM. If you are within the area, I should be available at approximately 10AM. The fuel charge has been WAIVED.

Thursday, April 11th, I will be in the Massillon area for a hair appointment. If you are within the area, I will be available before 1PM or after approximately 2:30PM. There will be no fuel charge, as I am already in the area.

Friday, April 12th, is FULL.

April 13th-15th I am UNAVAILABLE.

Tuesday, April 16th-April 20th is my NEW YORK trip. I have limited availability on the 16th in the Fredonia/Cassadaga area. The 17th, I will be in the BURDETT, NY area. Appointments available AFTER approx 2PM. If I can fill the rest of the 17th, I will go on to fill the 18th and so on.

April 21st and 22nd I am UNAVAILABLE due to dental appointments for the horses.

Tuesday, April 23rd, I am trying to rally a trip to NE OH. Times and fuel charge being waived is pending.

April 24th-26th is still relatively open.

April 27th-29th I am UNAVAILABLE.

Tuesday, April 30th-May 3rd is also available.

I am also working on another MICHIGAN trip, the 7th-10th of May.

As always, the price is still $30 per horse cash, $35 check or electronic. Fuel charges waived when a minimum is met along the way or within the area.
