Who’s going to see the Big Boy 🚂 tomorrow?
Hello, Euclid Residents!
Please be aware of changes in traffic patterns starting tomorrow morning due to a special event: On Monday, June 8th, the historic Big Boy #4014 Steam Locomotive will make a 30-minute stop in Euclid from 1:30 to 2:00 PM. This visit is expected to draw train enthusiasts and visitors from across the nation, which will impact our local traffic.
To manage the crowds and ensure safety, please note the following road closures:
➡️Tungsten Rd. at Chardon Rd. will be CLOSED
➡️North Street at Chardon Rd. will be CLOSED
➡️Euclid Ave. at Chardon Rd. may be soft closed due to crowds.
These closures will start early tomorrow morning and continue until about 5 PM.
If you're not planning to attend the Big Boy event, we advise avoiding the Chardon / Tungsten Rd. area to help ease congestion and maintain traffic flow.
