This prowler was taken the day before our wonderful eclipse. We Clevelanders really lucked out with the best possible weather in those days in April. This year however, the spring had a slow start with warm weather. This one was hungry for the camera and a lot of fun to photograph! Taken at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Photographing the band Olathia at The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern last year was a blast. Concert photography has its unique challenges and often calls for a lot of post work balancing out the harsh and dynamic conditions. But out of the thousands of photos, you catch lightning in a bottle and refine it to something memorable.

Sometimes the chaos is your best friend and will offer a ton of energy and effects, like this shot here. I did dial back the exposure and increased the color values, but the foggy effects and lens flares bring a lot of excitement into the picture.

Revenge of the Sith is truly a modern Greek tragedy, just as powerful in theaters today as it was 20 years ago. Since then, we’ve watched Vader fully consume Anakin across new stories, owning his choices with chilling pride. Obi-Wan’s apology, met with Vader’s defiance, stands as one of the saga’s most emotional moments. It's one of my favorite scenes in all of Star Wars.

May the Fourth be with you!
I’ve had this sequence in my head for a long time and finally brought it to life!
One of my favorite things about the Star Wars franchise is that it rhymes.
Here we see Vader coming to terms with his son’s sobering words after denying the conflict within. He remembers his closest friends declaring the same fate of Anakin.
After Luke is taken away to face the Emperor, Vader stood alone for a moment. He reignites his son’s lightsaber, a kindled flame of the light side within.
This was the true turning point for Anakin, waking up within to rise from his “death” and fulfill his destiny as the Chosen One.

It's Photoshop Phriday!
Here's a before and after of Hogwarts in Universal Orlando. The kids and I along with the grandparents took a family trip back in 2023. I'm still sorting through all the pictures... But this gem was perfect on a cloudy day to create soft, balanced lighting! Perfect for any Photoshop project! I used this as a backdrop for my son's Trunk or Treat later that year.

I'm tempted to do this project again, but record my work so I can make a time-lapse. What do you think?
