ATTENTION: CWRU School of Dental Medicine to offer discounted dental services to veterans and military on Veterans Day
In honor of Veterans Day, Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine will offer discounted dental care to veterans and military personnel at the school’s dental clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Exclusively available to new patients who are veterans or military personnel, the offer includes a dental exam, X-rays, and cleaning for $35. Additionally, patients who sign up for the comprehensive treatment plan will receive a $100 voucher redeemable for future dental services.
“It is our way of saying a special thank you to our war heroes,” said Ali Syed, admitting clinic director. “Moreover, we want to reach out to the military personnel in our community and offer the care they deserve, which is not only affordable but also the best dental care.”
The Veterans Day offers are available by appointment only, with three time slots offered (10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.). Patients are treated by third- and fourth-year dental students and residents, with supervision from dental school faculty members.
Each year, the School of Dental Medicine’s students and residents treat more than 8,000 patients, including university students, employees, and the general public at discounted prices. Clinic patients can also expect discounted services of 30–50 percent (dependent on procedure) compared to standard dental office rates.
Appointments can be made by calling (216) 368-6800. The School of Dental Medicine Clinic is at Case Western Reserve University’s Health Education Campus at 9601 Chester Avenue, Cleveland.
