Have y'all ever noticed those tall yellow flowers growing wild in the fall along the roadside? That's Goldenrod, a medicinal plant here in the south. Our fore mothers made beneficial herbal remedies with these, including tinctures and salves. The salves can be used for achy muscles, itchy skin, bug bites, even sunburn. Our Goldenrod salve is made from Goldenrod infused olive oil (infused well over 6 months), coconut oil, and bees wax.
