Sausage Gravy. It’s a staple in Southern culture- or at least I think it is!! Growing up, we had gravy for breakfast every morning. Ours never had sausage actually IN the gravy and was made with water, not milk. Ours was cooked with the dripping of whatever meat we fried- bacon, sausage, salmon patties, chicken, side meat, etc. always with flour and water.

Have you had it? Would you try it? Chocolate gravy is popular in my neck of the woods on top of a hot fluffy biscuit. Some folks have even been known to put it on top of their ice cream!!

Crockpot Carnitas- so easy, so cheap, so delicious!! I froze all of mine in 2 batches and will pull it out when I need to feed a crowd:)
