“Remembering the Teacher – Fethullah Gulen” is a heartfelt reflection on the life, faith, and luminous legacy of a man who lived entirely for others. In his last months, he repeatedly said, "I am a happy man." This was how he showed the spiritual peace of a soul content with his Lord. In his own words, Gulen reminded us that true happiness is born not from ease or comfort, but from selfless service and unwavering trust in God. This tribute recalls his lifelong quest to understand the soul, to rise above the cage of the body, and to remain steadfast in goodness even when it was neither easy nor convenient. Having now returned to his Creator, “the teacher” continues to guide through his example — a life of humility, compassion, and tireless effort to bring benefit to humanity. His counsel endures in every heart he touched: to love without condition, to respond to hostility with kindness, and to serve without seeking reward. As we remember him, we renew our resolve to carry forward that spirit of quiet sacrifice and boundless goodwill. Rest in peace, beloved teacher; may your happiness remain eternal, and your light continue to inspire hearts toward goodness.
