Five years ago, Brown Iron Brewhouse embraced a passion for craft beer, smokehouse cuisine, and bringing people together. On March 1, 2020, Brown Iron Royal Oak proudly opened its doors. None of us could have imagined how the world would change just 16 days later but metro Detroiters came through for the brew! Join Brown Iron all day on Tuesday, March 4th to join in on the celebration! They will be offering ½ OFF ALL FOOD, $5 Brown Iron beer full pours, and buy any shirt, get a hat for $5! One of our favorites is celebrating the cold weather with ICE! Brown Iron Brewhouse is excited to announce its 2025 Ice Festival! This festive event will take place at Brown Iron Royal Oak on February 22nd from 2 PM-7 PM and February 23rd from 11 AM - 6 PM. Their Washington Twp. location will host on March 1st from 2 PM - 7 PM and March 2nd from 11 AM - 6:30 PM. This event on both days at both locations is family-friendly and FREE to attend, making it perfect for all ages! Check out their website and social media for more information on this event!

Our local craft directory is constantly growing with more and more crafters. This story from our Winter Edition introduces you to some new distilleries in town. If you haven't ventured out you will want to get them on your list. Plan an upcoming road trip to New Baltimore to visit Tashmoo Distilling and go to Troy to see the new tasting room at Shankar Distillers. Both are sure to impress! Cheers.

Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale is not only raising a glass but they put their boots on and dug right into the idea of raising funds for an organization close to its heart and even added another charity into the mix to boot.
