At Roma Italian Restaurant & Bar, we believe that love isn’t just something we serve on a plate — it’s something we extend to our neighbors, near and far.

On the 9th of July Wednesday , we hosted a special fundraiser to support the families affected by the devastating floods in Kerr County, Texas. Thanks to your generosity, your appetite, and your heart, we raised a total of $1525 — 20% of our proceeds — and proudly donated it to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.

Though our roots are in Mississippi, our compassion knows no borders. 💙 What happens in one community touches us all — and when tragedy strikes, kindness is the bridge that brings us together.

We’re incredibly grateful for every guest who contributed by simply showing up, sharing a meal, and supporting the cause. Your dining made a difference.

Trees and flowers have started to bloom throughout Mississippi. Bright, yellow coatings of pollen are blanketing cars and roads throughout the state.

Dr. Gailen Marshall is chair of the Allergy and Immunology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He says for southern states like Mississippi, climate change is causing the spring pollen season to become longer.
