It was great seeing the youth working hard alongside the vendors to raise funds for their 2027 Kings Dominion trip. Wishing them continued success as they work toward their goal!

📍Community Update | Re Open Sharon’s Diner

There was a great turnout this morning in Downtown Clinton as community members came together to support the Re Open Sharon’s Diner Ham Plate Sale.

Many know Sharon’s Diner as the home of country ham in Clinton, a place filled with memories, great food, and familiar faces.

Today’s owner, Ms. Shirley Jones, has a remarkable story of her own. Before becoming the owner of Sharon’s Diner, she worked there as a waitress for 17 years. Now, she’s leading the effort to preserve and reopen one of Downtown Clinton’s historic restaurants, and she shared just how grateful she is for the incredible support shown by the community.

If you were unable to attend today’s fundraiser but would still like to support the reopening efforts, donations are still being accepted.

A huge congratulations to Gospel Elite Travel Ball on bringing home 2nd Place at the US Amateur June Jam Tournament in Fayetteville, NC! 👏🏾

What an incredible accomplishment and a proud moment for these young athletes, their coaches, and their families.
