Lisa Marie Davis Obituary
Lisa Marie Davis, 58, was born on November 8, 1967, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to parents William Mahan and Linda Kay. She passed on September 5, 2026, at Saline County Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Mahan and Linda Kay.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers Ricky Mahan of Solgohachia, Arkansas; Richard Mahan of Conway, Arkansas; Wayne Mahan of Conway, Arkansas; Tommy Mahan of Center Ridge Arkansas. Her daughters Becky Cook of Benton, Arkansas; Brenda McMurrian and husband Daniel of De Kalb, Texas; Ashley Davis of Evansville, Wyoming. Her Ten Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.

In life she was a great sister and mother. She spent her time being the main homemaker of her house.

She loved journaling, gardening, taking care of her beloved dog princess, and most of all spending quality time being with her family and grandchildren.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 1:00pm

Ronald Louis Hamner
March 3, 1957 – September 7, 2026

Ronald Louis Hamner, 69, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 7, 2026, surrounded by his family and friends.

Ron was born on March 3, 1957, in Clinton, Arkansas, to Everett Louis Hamner and Bonnie Ledbetter Hamner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lisa Blevins; and his brother-in-law, Roy Webb.

He is survived by his brothers, Donnie Hamner of Clinton, Arkansas, and Michael Hamner of Conway, Arkansas; his sister, Tammy Webb of Clinton, Arkansas; his brother-in-law, Boo Blevins of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Ted O’Neal of Clinton, Arkansas.

Ron was a simple man who believed in living life on his own terms and making the most of every day. He found happiness in the things he loved, whether that meant sitting with one of his many guitars, strumming a favorite tune, or riding one of his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. A talented mechanic, Ron had a gift for working with his hands and could fix just about anything with wheels.

Those who knew Ron will remember his independent spirit, his love of music and motorcycles, and the many moments shared with him over the years. His family and friends will forever treasure those memories and the time they were blessed to have with him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at New Beginning Church, located at 12262 Highway 254, Dennard, Arkansas 72629.

Ron will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Katherine Decker Obituary
Katherine Denise Decker was born on January 25, 1956, in Macon, Georgia. She passed away in Clinton, Arkansas, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, whom she loved dearly.

Kathy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved reading, cooking, “junking” and, most importantly, the Lord.

Her faith was an important part of her life. After raising her children, Kathy returned to school and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Victim Advocacy. This accomplishment reflected her determination, strength, and desire to continue learning and making a difference.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Langston; her father, Raymond Decker; and her sister, Margaret Rogers.

Kathy leaves behind her loving children: William Thomaston and his wife, Beth, of Perry, Florida; Raymond Thomaston of Macon, Georgia; Ann Barnes and her husband, Victor Barnes, of Clinton, Arkansas; Tony Thomaston and his wife, Erica, of Macon, Georgia; and Sandy Mackey and her husband, Jason, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who brought immense love and joy to her life.

Kathy will be remembered for her loving heart, strong spirit, faith in the Lord, and the unconditional love she had for her family. Her greatest legacy will be the love she gave to the generations that follow her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace and resting in the arms of her Lord.

Kathy’s family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff of Ozark Health & Rehab for the love, kindness, and care they showed Kathy. The staff became like family to her, and their compassion and dedication will always be deeply appreciated.

Edith McKnight Obituary
Edith McKnight, 89, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away on September 3, 2026, at UAMS in Little Rock, She was born on March 4, 1937, in Clinton, Arkansas, to the late Walter B. and Kansas M. (Forrester) Hoyle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit D. McKnight, son, Kirk M. McKnight, and his wife Ann.

She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family above all else. Edith found joy in time spent with her loved ones, whether gathered around the table for family get-togethers, enjoying a game, or sharing laughter and conversation. She especially treasured her church family and the fellowship she found through her faith. A member of Mainline Full Gospel Church in Bee Branch, she was faithful in worship and in service, and her church community held a special place in her heart.

She loved gardening and flowers, and she took great pride in quilting by hand, created with love, patience and care. She enjoyed reading and chocolate. She also had a spirit of adventure and traveled across the United States to visit the national parks, appreciating the beauty of God’s creation along the way.

She is survived by her sons, Malcolm (Lourdes) Soles, Roy B. (Betty) Soles, M. Wayne Soles, James V. (Sherry) McKnight, and Lonnie D. (Tricia) Soles. She also leaves behind multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, her church family, extended family, and many dear friends.

As Helen Keller once said, “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”

Visitation will be 5:00.p.m. – 7:00.p.m. Wednesday September 9, 2026, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 10, 2026 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Quattlebaum Cemetery.

Prayers for this wonderful family during this tragic time.

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved student, Peyton Hoyle.

Peyton was a cherished member of our school family, and this loss is deeply felt by our students, staff, and entire community. Our hearts are with Peyton’s family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

As we begin the week, we will provide information about counseling and support available to our students and staff. We want to make sure our school family has the care and support needed as we grieve together.

Please keep Peyton’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all those who loved her close in your thoughts and prayers.

Thomas E. Hill Obituary

Thomas Earl Hill, 78, was born to Thomas A. and Leona Maxwell Hill on September 18, 1947, in Clinton, Arkansas, and died August 30, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Essie Maxwell, Thomas and Rosie Hill; his parents, Thomas A. Hill and Leona Maxwell Hill; his brothers, Robert, John, and an infant brother; and his son, Thomas W. Hill “Bill.”

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sharlene and husband Terry Sowell; grandchildren, Danielle and husband Josh Sheppard, Terry T. Sowell, Dylan Hill; great-grandson, Barrett Joe Dempsie Sheppard; sister, Linda and husband Jack Welburn; brother, David Hill; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
Tommy left home at the age of 14 and started what was to be a lifelong career as a sheetrock finisher. He later, along with his son, started H&H Drywall, where he worked until he retired.
Tommy enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandson. He especially loved family reunions in his field. You always knew where you stood with him because he was a man that spoke his mind.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Bluffton Cemetery on Watergate Road in Clinton, Arkansas.

Homer Richard Webb Obituary
Homer “Richard” Webb, 87, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, four children, and family.

Richard was born on September 27, 1938, in Holly Grove, Arkansas, to Clarence and Vietta Webb (Dawson).

Richard shared 69 years of marriage with the love of his life, Anna Joyce Webb (Qualls). Together, they built a life centered around family, creating a legacy that continues through their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Joyce; their four children, Rita Lamb and husband James of Fulton, Arkansas; Angela Walls and husband Troy of Haslet, Texas; DL Webb and wife Jennifer of Choctaw, Arkansas; and Rhonda Hart and husband Scott of Greenwood, South Carolina; also 10 grandchildren, 13½ great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Richard had a big personality and a love for life that was evident to everyone who knew him. He loved his family above all else and treasured the time they spent together. Some of his favorite things included hunting, camping, fishing, family vacations, and, perhaps most famously, mowing his yard.

Richard was a member of the Clinton church of Christ.

He dedicated 38 years of his working life to ConAgra Foods, where he served as superintendent.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vietta Webb, and his grandson, Dustin Webb.

His greatest legacy will not be measured by his career or accomplishments, but by the family he loved, the memories he created, and the many lives he touched along the way. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Quattlebaum Cemetery following the service.

Jack Edwin (Ed) Lewis, age 89, of Cu***ng, GA, passed away peacefully at home on August 25, 2026. He was born on November 29,1936 in Clinton Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Ann and Edward B. Lewis and 10 siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Beverly Lewis; his daughters Deidre Lewis (Dee Dee), Lavern Mize, Tracey Lewis; stepdaughters; Tracey Viars and Tava Waterhouse; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ed graduated from Clinton State Vocational Training School in Clinton Arkansas before attending the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management in 1959. Ed was passionate about technology, having successful careers at Audichron and Weatherchron before starting his own technology company, H & L Electronics, with partner Leon Hall. Ed and Leon ran the company together before he retired in 1996.

Ed was strong in his faith as a member of Lilburn First Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. He enjoyed operating amateur radio (W4MDS), traveling, piloting his own single engine plane, doing mission work in several different countries, snow skiing, celebrating holidays with family and fishing and spending time on the water at his homes in Florida and on Lake Lanier.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday September 1, 2026 at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.
