Room to Read, in collaboration with Black Bears and Blueberries Publishing, will be giving its Indigenous Collection to Native kids, a series of seven PK-3 books written and illustrated by authors and artists representing the Oceti Sakowin (Dakota, Lakota, Nakota), Ojibwe, Native Hawaiian, Inupiaq, Cherokee, Choctaw and Navajo/Dine'. We'd prefer the books go to children from the tribes represented in the books, but you may order any or all of the collection. The books will be ready Fall 2026. Orders are being taken NOW. Minimum orders are 500 books. Follow the QR code to the order form.
