UPDATE At approximately 10:30 p.m., Saturday, June 14, Duluth Police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred in the 100 block of East 4th Street. Today, Friday June 20, Duluth Police arrested 37-year-old Lance Houle and 37-year-old Steve Sholtey in connection to that robbery. Sholtey was lodged at the County Jail on pending charges of 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery, Felon in Possession of Firearm, and Felony Domestic and Houle was lodged at the County Jail for pending charges of 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery.
This robbery is connected to the homicide that occurred on Sunday, June 15. This incident remains an active and ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
UPDATE: The male victim of this homicide has been identified as 37 year old, Duluth resident, Cody Thomas Telega. This incident is still

ORIGINAL: On 06/15/25 at approximately 1:30am, the Duluth Police Department responded to the report of a shooting in the 100 block of East 3rd Street. Upon arrival, officers located a male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately rendered medical aid, and the male was transported to a local hospital. The male victim later died as a result of the gunshot wounds. A second male victim was also shot at by the male suspect but was not injured. Ultimately two suspects were identified, and information was sent out to neighboring agencies. Cloquet Police Department and Carlton County Sheriff’s Office located the suspects and detained them for the Duluth Police Department. The two suspects are identified as Antonio Duryea Hendon, 35 years old, and Amber Michele Rose Walker, 41 years old. Hendon was lodged at the St Louis County Jail on preliminary charges of 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Assault. Walker was lodged at the St Louis County Jail on preliminary charges of Aiding and Abetting 2nd Degree Murder. The Duluth Police Department has determined all individuals involved in this tragic incident are known to each other and are investigating a prior incident that may have perpetuated the shooting homicide.
The victims’ names will be withheld pending further investigation and next of kin can be notified. No further information will be released at this time.
