Have you felt that your identity shifted after becoming a mother? You're not alone.

I had a lovely conversation with Tara at about all things matrescence, the transition to motherhood - and all the complexities of that transformation. We talked about the grief of letting go of parts of yourself in the transition to motherhood, the challenge of balancing motherhood and career, and the cultural pressures so many mothers feel. I loved this convo because Tara asked some questions that I don’t usually get asked about matrescence and my book, Mothershift: Reclaiming Motherhood as a Rite of Passage, which opened up so many great topics that I think so many mothers will resonate with.
