Travel tip for my fellow passport stamp collectors ✈️🌍

A lot of countries no longer stamp passports automatically anymore… and honestly it made me a little sad the first few times it happened 😭

Between electronic gates and digital entry systems, some places just wave you through without that little souvenir stamp we all love.

BUT here’s what I learned…

👉 If you want your passport stamped, ASK the immigration officer politely before they hand it back.

Most of the time they’ll gladly do it if they still have a stamp available.

We’ve started making it part of the adventure:
“Excuse me, could I please get a passport stamp?”

Sometimes you get a cool one…
Sometimes you get a tiny faded one…
And sometimes you get told no 😅

But for travelers who love looking back through their passport memories, it’s absolutely worth asking.

I've started doing a picture with the country flag and will create a photo book of our adventures.

Who else checks their passport like a scrapbook of adventures? ❤️

✈️😅 Heading Home… and He Has NO Idea

We’re on our way home and Mike is over here a little bummed…
“Stuck in the middle seats, no window… on a long flight too” 🙄

Meanwhile… I’m just sitting here smiling, trying real hard not to give it away 😏

Because what he doesn’t know is…
👉 we’re NOT staying in those seats for long

I cannot WAIT till you see his face when he realizes what’s about to happen 🥹❤️

🗺️✨ Our European Adventure – One Epic Route! ✨🗺️

Y’all… this trip covered SO much ground and every stop brought something unforgettable ❤️

✈️ Started in Budapest
🚢 Hopped on a Danube River Cruise through:
• Bratislava 🇸🇰
• Vienna 🇦🇹
• Linz 🇦🇹
• tour to Czech 🇨🇿
➡️ Ended cruise in Passau 🇩🇪

🚗 Private driver adventure:
• Munich – beer gardens & history
• Füssen – fairytale vibes at Neuschwanstein Castle 🏰

🚆 Then into Liechtenstein, Switzerland (the REAL magic 😍):

• Lucerne – mountain views for days
• Train adventures to:
– Engelberg (Mt. Titlis ❄️)
– Lausanne (lakeside beauty 🌊)

🚆 Finished in Zurich
✈️ Flew home to Atlanta

This wasn’t just a trip… it was river cruising, castles, mountains, trains, hop on buses, sky lifts and memories all rolled into one 💫

And if you’ve never heard much about it… you’re not alone—but let me tell you, this place is full of surprises 👀

Sitting right along the Danube, Bratislava is one of those hidden gems that still feels authentic and not overly crowded 🙌

Here’s what makes it so interesting:

👉 It’s the ONLY capital city in the world that borders TWO countries (Austria 🇦🇹 & Hungary 🇭🇺)
👉 The Old Town is like a fairytale—cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and little cafés everywhere ☕
👉 There’s a real-life castle sitting right above the city with incredible views of the river 😍
