What a night! Dueling Pianos for a Purpose: Harvest Moon & Melodies lit up the Clovis Veterans Memorial District with music, laughter, and generosity this past weekend. Guests enjoyed a lively show from the Killer Dueling Pianos, a barbecue dinner, wine giveaways, and a silent auction, all to support Valley Children’s Healthcare.

Hosted by the Los Rancheros Guild, this annual fundraiser raised an estimated $25,000 toward the hospital’s life-saving ECMO program.

Every note played helped make a difference for children right here in the Central Valley. 🌙🎶

Ballots for Proposition 50 are being mailed out starting this weekend, and local leaders are urging Clovis residents to pay attention before voting.

Proposition 50 would change how California’s political districts are drawn, giving lawmakers the power to redraw lines instead of the independent citizens’ commission. Fresno County Supervisor and former Clovis Mayor Nathan Magsig says that could weaken local voices in the Central Valley and is urging a “No” vote.

After weeks of hard work, firefighters in the Sierra National Forest are nearing full containment of the Garnet Fire, which burned nearly 60,000 acres since late August. Recent rain and even snow at higher elevations slowed some repair work, but crews are back in the field restoring trails, roads, and forest areas impacted by the blaze.

The Trimmer Campground and Kings River Recreation Area are open again for fishing and camping, while some forest closures remain in effect for safety.
