Now that the dust has settled and all ends have been tied on the 7th year of Silver Bells we want to say a huge thank you to our community for joining in again this year! So many businesses, organizations, families and individuals came together to help gift and deliver Christmas presents to seniors in our area. With your help we again gifted every senior at every facility in Clovis, Portales, Farwell, Friona, Muleshoe and Logan for a total of 534 seniors!!!! We are so grateful for everyone that teams up with us to make this possible!! We can’t wait for this years event!!!❤️❤️

Friona ISD: Release at 12:00 pm today, January 9 due to an increase in snow accumulation and temperatures. Also there will be a 10:00 a.m. start tomorrow, Friday January 10.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Curry and Roosevelt Counties, effective 5 AM Thursday morning through 11 PM Thursday night.

Here's what to expect:

🌨️ Snowfall: Accumulations of 1-3 inches are possible.
💨 Winds: Gusts reaching up to 40 mph, causing reduced visibility and drifting snow.

🚗 Travel Caution: Roads in Curry and Roosevelt Counties may become slippery and hazardous. Plan ahead, drive with care, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

🌡️ Stay Prepared: Bundle up, stay indoors if possible, and check local updates for road conditions.
