How to Spot Propaganda
(and stop spreading misinformation)
1️⃣ No sources → A meme isn’t proof. If there’s no link, video, or transcript, pause.
2️⃣ Timeline check → If the dates or history don’t line up, it’s not credible.
3️⃣ Shock language → ALL CAPS, extreme claims, or fear tactics = red flag.
4️⃣ No context → One screenshot or half a quote doesn’t tell the whole story.
5️⃣ Emotional push → If it makes you instantly angry or hopeless, that’s on purpose.
💡 Before sharing → ask: Would I stand behind this if someone asked for proof?
🌱 Sharing truth builds trust. Every time you choose accuracy over outrage, you help make social media a little healthier.
