Idea to Reality

After 10+ years of touring and several experiences in different recording studios; we decided that the time had to come put in motion what we had been talking about for years...a high quality recording studio that gives you a zero pressure atmosphere. Notion Sound Studio provides just that. We wanted to address and fix something that has been broken in what seems to be trending in most recording studios these days. Those things are: Time, pressure & vibe factor.

Time

When we think back on our experiences and talk with other musicians, the same topic always comes up. We always find ourselves checking the time while in the studio. Why? Because time is money, and very few of us have a money tree. Here at Notion, we offer very reasonable pricing that won't find you constantly interrupting your creativity by checking your watch. Speaking of time, we work with the artist regarding their preferred time slots. We don't see any reason to record at 9:00am when the artist is accustomed to creating their art later in the day. However, if you're a morning person - we have coffee for that!
