Chrome, classics and community filled the parking lot at First Baptist Church on Saturday as Rozier Auto Parts hosted its 3rd Annual Car Show. With 49 entries and vehicles traveling from across Georgia, the event drew car enthusiasts of all ages for a day of horsepower, history and fellowship.

Rocks, gems, fossils, and even meteorites made for an exciting morning at the Tessie W. Norris Bleckley County Library!

Children and families got a hands-on look at the fascinating world of geology as members of the Mid-Georgia Gem and Mineral Society shared specimens, stories, and plenty of opportunities to learn.

She delivered babies, cared for generations of women, and quietly lived out her faith every day.

Many in Bleckley County knew Dr. Patricia Coussens as a trusted physician. Others remember her for the compassion she showed before surgeries and deliveries, often stopping to pray in the hospital chapel before caring for her patients.

Dr. Coussens passed away June 3 after a battle with ovarian cancer, leaving behind a legacy of service, faith, and healing that touched countless families across Middle Georgia.
