Earlier this year, the Civil Rights Cold Case Records Review Board released 300 pages of files related to the Baltimore police shooting of Army Pvt. Thomas Broadus in 1942. Since this story originally ran in May, a local civil rights attorney has reached out to Mr. Broadus's surviving, 85-year-old son.
