Let’s try KO Distilling Bottled in Bond Bourbon!

When approaching whiskey bottled in bond is something we always value. For craft brands it’s an even bigger deal for them to reach a four year minimum aged spirit!

Let’s dive in for a few tasting notes:

Nose: smoked sea salt, chocolate, to***co leaves, and fig

Palate: the Smokey chocolate note comes through on the palate with other burnt sugar flavors. The over all flavor profile is layered and very interesting as I don’t typically get these notes.

Finish: burnt wood sugars and oak.

I’ll come back to the bottle again, very interesting!

Standard Rosé just got an upgrade with the release of Riviera.

This 94 proof light whiskey is finished in Rosé casks.

On the nose: strawberry cream cheese frosting, vanilla and graham cracker. Very dessert forward on the nose which is very welcoming.

On the palate: Herbal, Black Pepper, Graham Crack, and Strawberry compote. This drinks above its proof as most light whiskeys do on my palate.

The Finish: Lasting strawberry, pepper and herbal notes.

Overall I like the extension to the Cooper Series!
