Artist of The Week: Minimalistuk

Based in the United States, Minimalistuk is building his identity in the Progressive House scene with a sound that blends emotion, nostalgia, and melodic energy. His new EP, Take Me Back, scheduled for release on May 20th, 2026 via Go Trybe Records, features two tracks: “Take Me Back” and “Lose My Mind.”

The project was inspired by memories, personal growth, and the feeling of wanting to relive certain moments in life. While “Take Me Back” brings uplifting melodies and emotional tension, “Lose My Mind” explores a deeper and more hypnotic atmosphere.

Minimalistuk describes his current sound as emotional but still made for the dancefloor. His creative process usually starts with a feeling or mood first, letting the melodies naturally shape the direction of each track.

With this EP, Minimalistuk hopes listeners feel transported, whether during a late-night drive, a festival sunset, or inside a packed club. As he continues evolving in 2026, fans can expect even more melodic and immersive Progressive House releases moving forward.

Artist of The Week: Akoht Lourie

Akoht Lourie’s sound blends the rhythmic energy of Afro House with the emotional depth of Soulful House. The music has evolved from rhythm driven productions into more emotional storytelling, connecting both on dancefloors and in intimate listening moments.

Music became more than a profession, it became a way to overcome challenges and express authenticity. The motivation comes from contributing to the South African music scene and creating songs that can truly impact people’s emotions.

Inspired by legends of Deep House and South African electronic music, Akoht Lourie draws influence from Black Coffee, Atjazz, and Kaytranada. Studio sessions usually begin with percussion and groove before melodies and textures bring the track to life.

“Khoma la!!” was created for the dancefloor, carrying strong club and festival energy. The track reflects Shangane cultural roots and marks an important evolution in Akoht Lourie’s production style, opening the way for future projects like “Room Too Loud.”

Akoht Lourie’s new Afro House single, “Khoma la!!”, will be released on May 15 via Go Trybe Records.

Artist of The Week: Santiago Cortes

Santiago Cortes is a Swiss DJ and music producer whose career took off when his hit single “Don’t Leave Me” reached No. 1 on the Swiss Dance Charts, launching him onto the international electronic music scene. He also produced one of Switzerland’s most successful electronic music videos, receiving strong support from MTV and VIVA TV.

Known for his energetic and captivating sets, Santiago has performed at top clubs around the world, including regular appearances at the legendary Amnesia Ibiza. His sound is deeply rooted in Tech House, Deep House, and Dance Music, blending these influences into a unique and recognizable style.

With releases on Pacha Recordings, including the EP “One Way to Ibiza”, Santiago continues to showcase his passion for club-driven house music. His career has also been shaped by collaborations and remixes alongside renowned artists such as Samantha Fox, John Dahlbäck, Robbie Rivera, Claudio Coccoluto, Tom Novy, Jerry Ropero, Abigail Bailey, and Sarah Main.

Now, Santiago presents “Sandelai”, his new Afro House track featuring hypnotic grooves, powerful percussion, and an immersive atmosphere designed for the dancefloor. The release is set for May 8th via Go Trybe Records.

Driven by a strong personal connection with his partner Ann De Amor, his music carries an intimate yet powerful identity. That feeling takes shape in “Your Skin” a track that captures something visceral and emotional, while still hitting with enough intensity for late-night club moments.
