We had a fantastic show on November 3rd; we had Dr. Alka Kanaya speak about heart disease. Our guest, Nausheen Chen, a world-renowned business coach, called in from France. We also spoke with Jane Higgins, co-chair of the Landscaping with Florida Natives plant tour, sponsored by the Conradina chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, and a local advocate for native plants and their benefits.

She has been a native plant enthusiast for over 10 years. We spoke about the upcoming landscape tour. The landscaping tour is on Sunday, November 9, from 9am to 4pm and will focus on homes in the Palm Bay and south Melbourne area, showcasing landscapes with native plants.

Also on the tour this year is the Melbourne Founders Museum, which shares the story of the African American families who founded the area.
