Your nervous system wasn’t built for performance reviews, job interviews, or speaking up in meetings.
It was built for survival.

Research in social neuroscience suggests that some of the same threat detection systems that once helped humans survive physical danger can also activate during social risk: rejection, criticism, embarrassment, exclusion, uncertainty.

That’s why:
• staying silent can feel safer than speaking up
• applying for the role can feel scarier than staying where you are
• hitting “send” on an important email can feel strangely threatening

The response is real.
But sometimes what the brain registers as danger is actually growth wrapped in uncertainty.

So send the email.
Pitch the idea.
Apply for the role.
Speak up in the room.

What’s something you almost talked yourself out of because it felt “too risky” but turned out to change your life? 👇

Luna put on her Mind on Trial swag today and apparently decided she’s the official ambassador for thinking differently. 🐴💜🧠

Her current philosophy:
✨ ask more questions
✨ follow curiosity
✨ don’t believe everything at first glance
✨ and always leave room for nuance

Honestly… solid advice from a tiny donkey in heart-shaped sunglasses. 😂

The little “THINK DIFFERENTLY” kick at the end really ties it all together. 👀

The scariest part about false confessions isn’t that people lie.

It’s that psychological pressure can become so intense that some people begin questioning their own memory, judgment, and reality. 🧠⚖️

That’s what makes interrogation psychology so fascinating — and so controversial.

How much pressure do you think it would take before someone started doubting themselves? 👀👇

If Luna were still THIS tiny you already know she’d be modeling full Mind on Trial merch collections 😭💖✨

Tiny hoodie. Tiny psychology hat. Tiny emotional support donkey energy. 🫶

Honestly not sure what’s cuter:
Luna… or the fact I’d absolutely spend money making mini forensic psychology outfits for a baby donkey 😂

Your brain doesn’t remember the truth… it rebuilds it.

And in a courtroom?
That can decide who walks free—and who doesn’t.

Every week on Mind on Trial, I break down the psychology behind real cases, false memories, and the hidden forces shaping verdicts.

Because justice doesn’t just rely on facts…
It relies on how we think about them.

🧠 Watch the breakdown + get on the inside:

They are upset that a woman could send a man to prison for 11 years for a crime he didn’t commit. I get it.
They want the reason why this could happen if she was so sure he was the man she thought she saw. The explanation is in my next episode>>> this Sunday at 7 pm CT YouTube
